I don't use scrunchies at 55 they look a bit twee, I use covered bands the same shade as my hair with a scarf wrapped round and round if I want a bit of decoration.

silkpyjamasallday · 29/08/2017 07:27

I have some scrunchies made of mink fur, they are fab and I love them. I also have some silk slimline scrunchies from Silke London which stop my curly hair from matting when I use a hair bobble. Sometimes I'll use a ribbon or a big faux tortoiseshell clip.

SandBlue · 29/08/2017 07:28

these clips atm or clips from Claire when I'm in the UK, or a brown bobble in my brown hair.

LapinR0se · 29/08/2017 07:29

Can you send us a link for the mink fur scrunchies?

Auntiedahlia · 29/08/2017 08:03

Leicesterpiggott · 29/08/2017 08:04

NoCapes · 29/08/2017 08:21

No don't use scrunched of any kind, they're awful
Just a bobble will do

Ollivander84 · 29/08/2017 08:24

Invisibobbles for me or ribbon hair ties (I buy elastic ribbon off eBay, knot and trim the ends)

Crumbs1 · 29/08/2017 08:25

I use a large toothed grip thing to just twist up and clamp.

Purplepicnic · 29/08/2017 08:26

Scrunchies are so 80s in my mind!

Ledehe · 29/08/2017 08:29

Mink fur scrunchies?..........Not only are they ethically vile they are ugly.

imjessie · 29/08/2017 08:31

Bloody hell mink and raccoon are becoming so normal again now .. stop it everyone !!!!

MattBerrysHair · 29/08/2017 08:31

Thin hair bands from boots in the same colour as my hair.

Fur farms are illegal in the UK because it's fucking cruel. Shame on you.

Lizzylou · 29/08/2017 08:32

Mink?Shock Shock Shock
Those scrunchies are vile even if they were faux fur. Ugh.

I use caramel coloured hairbands, Tesco iirc

NC4now · 29/08/2017 08:35

Jesus, I've seen everything now.
Scrunchies remind me of school in the 90s.
I just use black bobbles to match my hair, and kirby grips.

SpottedGingham · 29/08/2017 08:38

Mink? FFS. Angry

Runningyogabooze · 29/08/2017 08:41

Scrunchies v 1990 aren't they? Or have they come back in? I have an old black velvet one that I only use in the house for fear of looking like Camilla Parker Bowles watching the polo several decades ago.

I use those twirly things like look like old telephone flex. They're great for running as they don't fall out.

Eminybob · 29/08/2017 08:42

Why on earth would you need or want to use dead animal skin to tie your hair up?
Just use a bobble for fucks sake. Or a ribbon if you want a bit of decoration.

MrsWooster · 29/08/2017 08:58

Just in case not enough people already pointed this out... mink? Really? Scraps of dead animal on your head?
I use a plastic bulldog not actual bulldog clip thing.

pandorawithtreaclecolouredhair · 29/08/2017 09:17

I use invisibobbles from Boots.

clumsyduck · 29/08/2017 09:20

Have I stepped back in time this morning ?

Mink ? No. Angry

Scrunchies ?!? Also no

I use normal thin bobbles that are like 2 quid in superdrug
