The most luxury item you own?

LazySusan11 · 26/08/2017 15:53

I love seeing people's jewels bags and other luxury items. I have a mental wish list!

What's your most lux item and can I see a pic? Grin

I'm coveting a Birkin never going to happen

Disclaimer: I realise that there are many people who find spending money on these sorts of items 'vulgar' so feel free to step away from this thread.

I have a few lovely handbags. Nothing in the realms of the Birkin, mind.

SherlocksDeerstalker · 26/08/2017 15:56

An Hermes Gypsiere in etoupe. I shall own it forever.

Whitney168 · 26/08/2017 15:59

A pair of Tiffany Sunburst earrings (no longer available, but look like this:

Steel Rolex watch, Chloe hobo handbag. I use both every day, worth every single penny (although Rolex was 40th birthday gift from dh).

Also have an amethyst collar necklace, was vvv expensive, gift from dh but lives in a safe and suitable only for black tie events which i never go to-

CantChoose · 26/08/2017 16:04

My engagement ring I guess! I designed it with DH as a combination of styles. I don't want to post it as it's a bit distinctive so probably outing but it's like this

I love those earrings whitney!

LazySusan11 · 26/08/2017 16:11

Love the earrings and ring, very beautiful. How do you find the Hermès Gypsiere Sherlock? Is it heavy?

OP posts:
Whitney168 · 26/08/2017 16:11

So do I CantChoose - lusted after them for years and eventually thought stuff it, I'm just going to do it. By that time, they were discontinuing them and they were like hen's teeth, which made me even more determined to have them.

Ridiculous thing for me to own, but I don't care.

Donostia · 26/08/2017 16:22

Sort of related to S&B but not what you meant... but I do have a copy of Lady Dugg-Gordon (founder of Lucille) autobiography from its original print run handed down via my seamstress great granny.

I have a beautiful gold and ruby fly necklace (Christening gift) - very like the Alex Monroe ones but the real deal!

I bought myself a Mulberry bag but a designed-for-outlet one so it was no more than £300, although I can't remember exactly.

Jimmy Choos I no longer fit into and wore for all of two hours due to pregnancy stretching my feet!

LapinR0se · 26/08/2017 16:24

A Cartier watch that I love and wear every day

Babyblues14 · 26/08/2017 16:26

A Michael kors watch. My dh promised that one day we would be able to afford one (17 when we first got together) and got it for me for my 21st birthday. Haven't stopped wearing it since Grin

Singap0reSling · 26/08/2017 16:30

My engagement ring with its 3/4 carat D IF brilliant cut diamond, small but almost perfectly formed, just like me Grin

Lanaa · 26/08/2017 16:31

I have a Birkin and a 2.55. They're my pride and joy. I have a fairly good collection of bags but those two are my most luxe things on account of them being rare.

Grawp · 26/08/2017 16:46

i.ytimg.com/vi/MH_WvdvrSNo/hqdefault.jpg

I would love one of these one day.

Grawp · 26/08/2017 16:50

My link looks really spammy but it's just to a picture of Fleur the youtuber holding a Chanel bag.

LazySusan11 · 26/08/2017 16:53

Lanaa, which Birkin did you get?

OP posts:
LazySusan11 · 26/08/2017 16:54

Grawp, I love the boy bag..what I don't love is the ridiculous price increases each year!

OP posts:
MadisonMontgomery · 26/08/2017 17:05

My Cartier watch.

JaceLancs · 26/08/2017 17:24

Omega gold watch
Quite a bit of diamond jewellery
I don't spend as much on clothes or accessories but jaeger coats and bags are probably the most I've spent
I've also got v narrow feet so Italian shoes can be quite expensive

sparechange · 26/08/2017 17:27

A steel and white gold Rolex
I promised myself I would buy it as my 30th birthday present to myself.
It took me a couple more years but I wear it every day and love it
It goes with everything I wear and keeps perfect time

FartSmeller · 26/08/2017 17:29

A Mulberry bag and purse. A big pot of Eve Lom cleanser too.

I rarely use the bag though as DH chose it and it's a bit too fancy for me. It's been sat under my bed for a good year Blush

Llogan2016 · 26/08/2017 17:31

My engagement and wedding rings. One time we really splurged on something.

thesleepystorm · 26/08/2017 17:32

I just don't get designer bags. Ok they are nice quality but I've never seen one I've thought ooh wow that bag is amazing.

I don't really own anything luxury. I'd be too afraid of losing it Blush

Grawp · 26/08/2017 17:36

I don't even look at the price LazySusan I just know I can't afford one (yet). Though in the video I think Fleur says the bags do hold their price if you look after them and want to sell them a few years later. Don't know if that's true though.

PNGirl · 26/08/2017 17:43

My full eternity diamond and white gold ring and my Mulberry Bayswater. After that I have a few things that were around £300 like my leather jacket, a Coach bag, watch.
