I love seeing people's jewels bags and other luxury items. I have a mental wish list!

What's your most lux item and can I see a pic? Grin

I'm coveting a Birkin never going to happen

Disclaimer: I realise that there are many people who find spending money on these sorts of items 'vulgar' so feel free to step away from this thread.

Floisme - that's so strange. I also have a beautiful 1920's flapper dress gifted to me by a family friend. I hadn't really thought about it as I've had it over 30 years since I was a child but it probably is worth a fortune.

I have some very expensive coats £400+ and several nice bags. Would like a Mulberry but was very disappointed when I ordered one earlier in the year. The quality was terrible - plastic looking leather (smooth calf) and hardware bordering on tacky.

What a lovely gift Pookie! I bought both mine around 1990. I remember buying the first in particular cos it's particularly lovely and cost £150, which gave me one or two sleepless nights as it was an absolute fortune to me at the time!

Dolce & Gabbana coat
A pair of insanely beautiful high heels that I had custom designed
My wedding dress, which is a John Galliano non-wedding dress.

The coat is the only one that gets regularly worn, but it's nice to know they're there.

A massive diamond ring I inherited from my godmother when she dies. I love it but normally keep it in a safe not in my own home as it's very valuable. I crack it out for special occasions.

My eternity ring, Rolex watch and my 2 x Mulberry Bayswaters with matching purses.

We are not wealthy or even particularly comfortable but I buy very few clothes and save up for things, then keep them forever.

Perhaps that's why I love most of my possessions because none are bought on a whim or credit?

Can I also include my miniature schnauzer - she cost £900 (and several thousand in destroyed items....)
