Every day silver necklace

I am looking for a simple silver necklace to wear everyday and I'm struggling to find the right one. I used to have a russian ring style one from DH but I can't find it. :( I know that I don't want anything with a creature/specific object on it (ie no bees, birds, boats, feathers, pineapples etc) and nothing personalised with the names/initials/fingerprints etc of my children. Something which sits nicely on the neckline so 16" chain probably, no long pendants and nothing too in your face. That said, I would like it to be a little bit quirky/interesting and not Tiffany or a more classic style such as hammered silver rings etc. I've looked at all the local jewellery makers round where I live and nothing is grabbing. Can anyone recommend anything simple but striking? My dress sense is a bit mum uniform of Boden/Joules/SeaSalt type Breton top and skinny jeans but I run a beach shop and can also quite often be found in shorts and a vest top or a t-shirt dress.

Check out Lee Renee jewelry e.g. leerenee.co.uk/lee-shop/tiny-voodoo-orunla-snake-spinner-necklace-silver

I have the classic halo which I love

Diamonddealeroncemore · 27/07/2017 22:19

Not cheap but Georg Jensen is chic and classic.

OCSockOrphanage · 27/07/2017 22:20

Braybrook & Britten have a really simple and gorgeous necklace that I would wear all the time, I've coveted it for years but it's a bit above my spend limit for every day.

BarchesterFlowers · 27/07/2017 22:22

This is my favourite place for silver.

HappyHoppy · 27/07/2017 22:24

The Odin necklace from Lines and Current fulfilled a similar brief for me! www.linesandcurrent.com/collections/jewellery-collection/products/the-odin-oversized-circle-necklace-1

Loopy9 · 27/07/2017 22:25

jewellery.wrightandteague.com/collections/necklaces/products/love-divine-and-flower-heart-necklace I've had this in silver for about 20 years now.. I wear it practically every day and it always gets compliments. An investment piece though! It was much cheaper when I bought it!!

A second vote for georg Jensen. Some jewellers carry second hand Jensen which can be a bit cheaper (still spendy unfortunately)

DandelionAndBedrock · 27/07/2017 22:37

Heather Scott does gorgeous cheap pendants/necklaces.

I like a flat herringbone style like this: www.essentialjewellers.com/sterling-silver-herringbone-necklace

OCSockOrphanage · 28/07/2017 08:41

This is my heart's desire.

BarchesterFlowers · 28/07/2017 09:12

[http://sallywilcox.co.uk/category/jewellery Sally Wilcox]] is another favourite of mine - £200 upwards generally, whereas my other link is more affordable.

Pigeonpost · 28/07/2017 09:24

Thanks everyone! Some lovely suggestions. This one from the link Barchester suggested is a definite front-runner so far: organic egg pendant

Scandi-style stuff is nice. Something by Skagen or similar. Simple lines, in silver.

Mrsmaudwatts · 28/07/2017 21:43

The egg is lovely! I wear a small Vivienne Westwood key which I love

Pleased you have found something you like OP.

Mrs my parents have bought me a key from the place I linked to for my birthday, not sure which one but I like the idea of a key.
