I wish i could afford Stevie Nicks' plastic surgeon

She's 70 next year and still ravishingly gorgeous.

I don't know if it's surgery, or fillers or both but it's been fabulously done.

And a great make-up artist and quality hair extensions.

Admittedly I'm not a fan of these procedures anyway but fillers baffle me. My face filled out post menopause and it's the single most ageing thing that's happened to me so far. I've lost all definition. I have friends whose faces may be more lined but I think they look much better than I do. I'm baffled that some women pay for this effect.

Helen mirren has had a face lift, amongst other things. Nothing natural about her.

She is nip, tucked, botoxed, filled, sucked out - the full works.

The problem with plastic surgery is it can work really well for some people but not for others. A good face lift can take years off you - Anne Robinson looked amazing for example - but it's the constant Botox, fillers, lip surgery, that makes people look ridiculous.

I'm wondering whether the best strategy is to forget Botox and fillers and just have a straight facelift at 50. It avoids that puffy, filler face and frozen waxy Botox look..

I was waiting for Helen Mirren to come up! Watched Prime Suspect box set recently and she looked older at 47 than she does now! Looks fab but "natural".....lol..

You're probably right about a facelift but I'm so squeamish!

I sway between liking how my face is ageing and hating how tired I look. I think realistically I'd rather go on a fantastic holiday than spend the money on surgery

Christie Brinkley looks grat, but she has that tiny chiseled nose so typical of 1970s plastic surgery.

I grew up with such a complex about my big lumpy nose because small noses were almost pushed as an ideal. The only people with bigger noses were people like Barbara Streisand who was continually ridiculed for it.

I'm so glad that, in amongst all the fillers etc, the tiny little pointy nose is no longer the only "desirable" middle of face aesthetic.

See I think having a big wonky nose corrected is absolutely fine, I mean it's not like you can disguise it or anything, it's just stuck there in the middle of your face.
But I'd never have Botox or a facelift, we all get older and should accept it gracefully.

Jane Seymour looks fab. I don't know if she has had work done. If she has it's been done really well.

Christine Brinkley and Jane Seymour were both starting out with amazing genes and beauty so not too hard to keep it going.

Jane Fonda is a good example of having fantastic surgery.
