I wish i could afford Stevie Nicks' plastic surgeon

She's 70 next year and still ravishingly gorgeous.

I don't know if it's surgery, or fillers or both but it's been fabulously done.

And a great make-up artist and quality hair extensions.

No comment on the surgery, but she looks just like Carrie Fisher!

surfer she's spoken out about it and how many of her peers were getting stuff done and she felt she should but then decided to let nature take its course because she didn't like the look of it. I think she was being genuine.

She still has a fabulous voice. I wonder how many of today's music slebs will still be around in 40 years time.

You can totally tell she's had work done but she's fabulous and an icon.

My friend has had Botox, fillers and eye surgery at 70 and you absolutely cannot tell. If you had to guess, you'd think she was 60 and she looks great. Not plumped and ironed, just great. She paid a lot of money for it though!

I'd live Stevie even if she had a paper bag over her face! Her face might be fake but I saw her in concert a few years ago with FM and they played for almost 3.5 hours, now that's stamina most 70 year olds, in fact most 40 years olds don't have!

She does NOT look good!! Her face is really puffy. Not natural looking at all.

Heard her play 2 weeks ago and then duetted with Tom Petty and by heck she was brilliant. I've been singing SN songs ever since and I only went really to see Tom.

I think she looks beautiful!! But then I love Stevie and Christine too!!

I think I might start a Stevie Nicks appreciation thread - not about her looks but her music. There are some poor souls who are not aware of her. We need to spread the word!

I really didn't appreciate the music at the time but I loved the way she dressed and I used to haunt all the second hand shops for silk and lace and velvet and wispy scraps of feathery stuff. And of course hats. Stevie Nicks and Siouxie Sioux were my style crushes.

I don't think she has had surgery. I think she has had some cheek fillers and maybe some Botox.
Also there is a lot of make up and good lighting going on there.

Not everyone looks terrible at 70.

I think the real issue is that people have preconceptions of what 60 or 70 may look like, in general.

I have some fab friends who are mid 60s and easily look 10 years younger, with no work done. In my own family me, my mum and my daughter all look much younger than we are. DD gets ID'd a lot and she's almost 30!

She doesn't look natural, she looks slightly bizarre (and yes, very like Carrie Fisher) imo. Oddly, for me her hair looks weirder than her face. However, she probably could pass for 50 which is impressive in a way.

Bit puffy but lovely still. I agree that the lipstick is a bit dark. My friend's mum had a full facelift about 10 yrs ago which was fabulous at the time, but for some reason now it looks awful. Her face and neck don't match, to the point that she looks like she's wearing a mask. I think I'd have blepharoplasty at some point, but beyond that I'm going to leave well alone. Even with the blepharoplasty don't they say that you need a forehead lift with it? Don't fancy staples in my head really. And my jawline is going, so my upper and lower face wouldn't match. Maybe I'll not bother at all. So easy to look worse.

She's great but in terms of good plastic surgeons I'd like the number for Alana Stewart or Christie Brinkley. I think they look amazing.

Christie Brinkley is 63. She is rather candid about having work done. I want her surgeon. And dietician. Personal trainer. And bank balance

She looks like she went in and bought the same off the peg plastic face that Meg Ryan chose!

She looks nothing like she was supposed to look like if her natural Stevie nicks faced had aged without surgery.

If you go to California there are loads of women with this generic filled face.

Ashley Judd is another one who has had the same procedures to get that big face, pillow cheek all look the same surgery!

Christine now looks the better of the two!

I find it a bit spooky how everyone who has 'work' ends up looking the same - it's as if some plastic surgeon is creating his own weird Joker Army or something

When I'm that age I would much rather look like Helen Mirren; Joanna Lumley; Judy Dench to name a few. They still look lovely but older - which is exactly how it should be.

Stevie has had loads of surgery and plenty of mls of filler. IMO it looks far too overdone. No one has cheeks like that at 70. Puffed up and round. Nah. Same for lips. And the rest. It must take enormous upkeep.

Shame about Ashley. Such a pretty woman and I think she would have aged beautifully.

Noooo! I see women looking like this all the time in the grocery store. Without the make up on, the lighting and the hair looking perfect, they look ridiculous. They just look like old women with whizzed up eyes and lips heading towards the floor.
