It compensates for necessity of supportive bra.

Stropperella · 08/06/2017 18:07

Oh I need one of them as well. I don't like a draught around the nethers. (no, autocorrect, I did not mean The Netherlands).

bigTillyMint · 08/06/2017 18:22

Chafing, Herbs? How? Where?
Chubrub is below the knicker-line, surely?
Not that you would have it, of course.

msmargarita · 08/06/2017 18:31

Like Stropps (which my autocorrect thinks should be Atropos) I like a constrained undercarriage. My ex-sil otoh liked the air to circulate and it could be hard to know where to look when we were all lounging in the garden.

msmargarita · 08/06/2017 18:38

BD, the sportsman at seasalter was where we went and had the tasting menu. amazing not at all home cooking but also not fussy. We had oysters, crab bisque, turbot, chicken with sundry delicious extra bits and vv reasonable wine list. And it just wasn't at all snooty - saw a middle aged couple I think turned up late and had got caught in the rain - drenched walking gear - and they were equally smiley to them as everyone else. I reckon meal took us about 3 hours even though they were v efficient. Was just lovely.

MrsKlugscheisser · 08/06/2017 18:58

We have booked a few days at Margit, in the cottage we stayed in last year, for the week after next.

I have been known to go commando, mostly in my yoof, when I first started seeing DH...

herbaceous · 08/06/2017 19:20

Intimate chafing, BTM. I can say no more.

Dreamqueen · 08/06/2017 19:53

Msmargarita we went to the Sportsman also the other week, it was delicious. Made a booking for another Sunday and the first date that they could fit us in is November.

I love my silver Hotter sandals, went back online to buy the red ones and they've sold out of my size in all colours. Found these ones on Clarks but thy're not quite as comfortable. Never thought I'd end up being a Hotter gal. Confused

msmargarita · 08/06/2017 20:17

DQ - a crepey destination - delicious and comfortable!

MrsKlugscheisser · 08/06/2017 20:58

Awkward flaps, Herbs? GrinGrin

hattymattie · 09/06/2017 06:35

Interesting, very interesting ...

hattymattie · 09/06/2017 07:24

Now I know these things were done a bit differently but I love how a 7% difference is not an overall majority, yet in the Brexit vote a 4% difference was an overall majority.

Am pleased about hung Parliament but wish the Lib Dems could get it together a bit.

Let's hope Boris doesn't swan in having been one of the instigators of all this chaos.

IDismyname · 09/06/2017 07:27

What a bloody mess Confused

hattymattie · 09/06/2017 07:37

The British like to keep their leaders on their toes Wink. Talk about "pride comes before a fall".

Are all the other crepies in bed sleeping it off?

bigTillyMint · 09/06/2017 07:40

I wish!
I was awake at 5 after a rather disturbed sleep because DH was watching it in bed, and I have 2 doing exams this morning. DD looks exhausted as she was also awake at 5.

MsMartini · 09/06/2017 07:45

I wish too! Yep, what a mess. Delighted to see TM in trouble and possibly a hard Brexit averted, but so so much to play for and possibly a long period of uncertainty.

Rosenspants · 09/06/2017 08:11

Phew, we live in troubled times. Hatty you are one after my own heart.

May I lower the tone to S&B for a moment...the mistral sun dress which I ordered is a gorgeous fit for someone like me...hourglassy, and 100% cotton. I am very pleased ...it's quite thin and unlined but will be great for hot days. Vair pleased and relieved that my usual size fits.

I also picked up this el cheap jacket from in- store having spied it online...and it's really lovely. I got it in black but may order another colour. Great for summer but will also work as a jacket over all these evening dresses I have to wear.

Am off to a teachers meeting this morning. DD is in bed and plans to do some assignment work before going off to see fellow student's final assessed performance this afternoon. DH is flying back over night.

motherinferior · 09/06/2017 08:38

A mess is better than a Tory landslide!

Stropperella · 09/06/2017 08:58

Agree, MI.

Cremolafoam · 09/06/2017 10:52

Rosen, that it a lovely site I've not seen before. I really like the canoe dress, which will be gorgeous on you.
Feeling quite discombobulated with this hung parliament thing. Having gone through decades of party opposition politics as opposed to a govt that deals with The Actual Issues, I want to weep. Also the DUP will be delighted with themselves regarding the balance of power and completely and conveniently forget that NI haven't had a working government for months and no major decisions have been made in aeons.
Now we have orange v Green again with no voice of reason in the middle.

Bleurgh.

hattymattie · 09/06/2017 14:58

The mechanic at Speedy just said to me "Oh la la ces anglais" - we have baffled the Europeans!

msmargarita · 09/06/2017 19:22

Lovely dress, Rose and will really suit you. Will have to look at that site.

MsMartini · 09/06/2017 19:54

Rose, you will look fab in that dress, gorgeous. Nice site tho I like that frock best (the others all look a bit matronly up top - or is that just me - I have that effect on dresses!)?

Hatty, I spent the day doing my volunteering, talking to people from around the world. Felt like they were all going out of their way not to mention the GE, clearly seen as a private grief.

MrsKlugscheisser · 09/06/2017 21:42

I have been drinking. I have now eaten pizza and strawberries and have a small headache. I may have an early night.

Cremolafoam · 09/06/2017 22:32

It has been a long day Mrs K. The world feels yet again a shakier place. You get to the point where going to bed and waking up is a dangerous and unpredictable game. Brexit, Trump, hung parliament, the Sodding DUP
If I wake up tomorrow and Bono is in charge, or Bojo for that matter, I shan't be surprised.

Dh says we're moving to Uzbekistan.
