Thoughts on this dress for a wedding in June

So one of my closest friends is getting married in June and i have been searching for a dress to wear and not really finding much. I know i have plenty of time but i hate leaving things like this to the last minute.

I have bought this red coast dress which i sort of love.... the only thing i am unsure of is if the off the shoulder look is a bit last year IYSWIM.

What do you think, should i keep it or keep looking?

Lots of off the shoulder stuff in the shops for this summer still so I don't think it will look dated by June. It's a lovely colour.

I like it too, June isn't that far away, and it's such a lovely dress I'd wear it even when off the shoulder isn't so high fashion anyway.

I think i will keep it, it is super comfortable, a lovely colour, and very simple yet stunning.

I love the dress, though not sure if it;s something I would wear as not too keen on off the shoulder...but it's a lovely dress.

Just have to decide how to accessorize it now.... don't want anything too OTT, want to keep things simple like the dress

I'd be tempted to chuck in some leopard print strappy sandals and a tan or gold bag. Maybe a boxy clutch?

Off the shoulder is everywhere this season. To the point that I'm struggling to find anything to wear that isn't off the shoulder (or cold shoulder).

Your dress is very nice btw.

Sorry to buck the trend, but I wouldn't wear anything that colour to a wedding - you'd upstage the couple in any group photos, or they'll have to print in black and white [voice of bitter experience]. And with gold and leopard print sounds so tarty. Weddings are not nightclubs.
