My favourite discontinued perfumes

About to run out of my 2 favourite perfumes that I have been hoarding for decades,I've always kept them in the boxes in a cool dark cupboardso they still smell just like they used to.really gutted that I cant buy them anymore!

Second acqua di gio, an ex boyfriend used to buy it for me and reminds me of being young and carefree and not sleep deprived and covered in baby sick 😂

I bought lots of it once it was discontinued but it's aging now. So sad. Never been able to find anything that " says" the same things it did.

Next florabundi !! The perfume of the 80's for me

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria grosellina. I loved that perfume and cant believe Guerlain stopped making it, yet kept making Pampelune, which smells like sweaty armpits.

Onthewing- Wrappings is released just (Iirc) for the Christmas season every year. PP do a pretty good dupe in the meantime!

You can still get both Acqua di Gio and Acqua di Gioia. (fragrance direct uk has both in various sizes)

Just chucked a bottle of New West. It was so old that it started to smell like wee.

Love Champagne by YSL (more recently called YSL)

Wrappings is still available on the Clinique website under gift sets.I've bought two recently.But if you type Wrappings into a search it doesn't come up .
L Artisans parfumeur Fleur de Liane is my discontinued unicorn .Though I do have one bottle.It smells exactly like my baby twins skin in our apartment in Asia overlooking the Pacific at that time. I can smell the heat and humidity, the saltiness of the sea , the faint floral smell of the Johnsons baby bath and skin.Perfume is so evocative of a time and place.My babies are now 12,sweaty and spotty and not sweet smelling at all.

I've never forgiven Tom Ford for discontinuing Black Violet. I loved it, saved up for a bottle, then trotted down to Fenwicks to buy it only to find it had been discontinued the previous month and all stock had been sent back. Also Violetta by Penhaligons. I saw a 100ml bottle in TK Max and didn't bother as I had half a smaller bottle left but have kicked myself ever since!

Avons Absinthe also went. I love the Aqua Allegorias as well but they get replaced a lot. I've just picked up a still sealed bottle of Grosselina from eBay. Sorry ohms! They do turn up every now and then though

FabricFabric I've just bought a Black Violet dupe from Perfume Parlour and it smells really good.

One I used to like in the late 90s was Vice Versa by YSL. I don't think it stuck about for long.

I actually do feel quite sad my favorite perfume I wore in the 90's is discontinued.

Priscilla Presley - Indian Summer.

Makes me feel all nostalgic thinking about it.

My out and out favourite is origins spring fever. I still have almost a full bottle

I put my Gucci envy in the bin when I was having a clear out. Never really liked it.
Can't understand origins getting rid . It's not like they do loads of perfumes. I didn't care for the ginger one.

I'm into Estée Lauder youth dew again...45 years on since my first bottle.

Champagne is now called Yvresse.

Sicily by Dolce and Gabbana. Absolutely adore it and for some reason, its one of the few perfumes that works on my skin.

I'm a Sicily lover too. I have one bottle left that I got on Ebay. Will be gutted when it's finished.
