Sandals good for walking that aren't fugly

I'm off to France in the summer for a week, and plenty of walking is expected. I can't seem to find any decent sandals that would be good for walking, but are also stylish and feminine.

Do pretty walking sandals exist, or am I going to have to buy Jesus creepers?!

Another Fitflop fan here- I like (some of) their boots and their sandals- not the toe post ones though. I've have had about 8-10 pairs over the years. Personally I haven't liked their trainers or ballet flat style.
I dont drive, and regularly walk 10-15 km a day. You can put Fitflops on and walk for miles in comfort. No rubbing, no blisters, no hip pain!

They're basically all fugly. Keens are the best. I've got Keens and Birkenstocks. I know they're unattractive, but I also know they'll do the job and I won't be suffering / cutting my day short.

I love Fly sandals. I bought these funky red pair last summer and will probably wear them to death this summer

and I love them to bits. They are unbelievably comfortable for walking and keep your feet nice and cool in proper heat. And I think are genuinely pretty without straying into six year old territory.

I've spent the last few summers in Reef flip flops but my poor old feet and back can't take the constant gripping thing you have to do when walking in flip flops. Those Merrells look perfect.
