I am looking for every day casual boots but need the height. What do you think of these?

They are not my thing, I'm confused as to what style they are. I don't think the heel style suits the upper style.

BigGreenOlives · 05/03/2017 08:15

What would you wear them with?

LynetteScavo · 05/03/2017 08:19

I wouldn't say they're casual. They look like you'd come home after a day out with leg ache. They're just not my kind of boot.

DayDreamsOfMaria · 05/03/2017 08:30

I would just wear them with black skinny trousers and a black top, pretty much my weekend outfit at the moment. It's so difficult to achieve casualness when you need the extra height...

Oh they are truly awful, sorry!

DayDreamsOfMaria · 05/03/2017 08:36

Don't apologise. I believe you!!! I've totally lost my way when it comes to footwear.

And it's a no from me. They are fugly

Wedges are all sorts of wrong. If you need height, what's wrong with a block heel? They look casual.

DayDreamsOfMaria · 05/03/2017 08:43

A block heel would be nice, I am not finding one that's high enough though. I like this one but the slightly tapered heal puts me off

Yuck. They look like some kind of orthotic surgical boots.
Keep on searching OP

LynetteScavo · 05/03/2017 08:57

The Ugg ones are really nice.

The Debenhams ones are fugly.

TheMasterNotMargarita · 05/03/2017 08:58

The first pair are horrible.
The other 2 are fine. Third ones look a bit clunky but I think they would look great on.

BusterGonad · 05/03/2017 08:58

Not the Debenhams ones either, they look like the Kickers boots that some girls wore to school in the 90s!!!

BusterGonad · 05/03/2017 08:59

The Ugg ones are the best so far!

2 nice options from ASOS (previous links), they also have some lovely suede ankle boots that still can be styled casual.

EggsEleven · 05/03/2017 09:09

The Debenhams pair are the worst. Think the Selected Femme ones are my favourite followed by the Ugg ones. Don't like any of the others linked.

EggsEleven · 05/03/2017 09:10

The Zalando ones are quite nice too.

BreatheDeep · 05/03/2017 09:11

Asos and Zalando are always my go to for shoes. Good range of styles and prices.

EggsEleven · 05/03/2017 09:11

I quite like these

Yes I liked those suede ones too

AllPizzasGreatAndSmall · 05/03/2017 09:22

What do you mean by you need the height? Why?
Generally casual tends to mean comfortable, so usually low heels.
