Flippin norks...

So, decided I needed a bit of an image overhaul to kick start 2017. I have been following a couple of style blogs littlefashioncloset & my fashionableforties, after someone recommended them on here.

I love how they style their clothes, and I love that they mainly wear black, grey, navy & taupe, and keep things simple. I ordered a few items they recommended, and an oversize, grey cardi from H&M arrived today.

They style it with a black, striped Breton or a blush pink, lacy camisole, black skinnies and biker boots.

Tried on the whole ensemble....and it would look great except for my bleddy 34G norks Angry. It completely passed me by, that these bloggers have no boobs so everything falls very stylishly on them.

In this oversized cardi and cami they manage to look pixie-petite and dainty...whereas, I just look matronly (I think?).

DH likes the camisole Hmm

Thing is I'm on heavy-duty HRT so there's little chance of my norks shrinking anytime soon, even if I diet.

Wore one of my Bravisimmo tops to work today (with a cami under) and got so many nice comments. I may buy a few more, if the colours aren't too hideous.

BakeOff, oh, I like that top!

Cowl necks are very flattering IMO, particularly if they go with a bit of a fitted waist.

I favor a fit and flare dress or a skater dress preferably with stretch for the huge jugs! These style of dresses give the illusion of a waist and the flare balances out my knockers! 😂

I am 34G and struggle with clothes. I've got fairly skinny legs but I can't wear skinny jeans because they make my norms look even more ridiculous.
I tend to wear low scoop neck tight tops or v necks which bore me now I lost a stone in weight and have collar bones now and suddenly boat neck tops (thin material mostly dark plain colours) work.

But it depends on the bra. Some make me look like I have drooping udders. Others make me look passable. Occasionally I find some that look good. It's just so dispiriting looking AGAIN.

And I am never in fashion, clothes wise. I've just tried to find something that suits my shape. Really struggle as I feel like I just look matronly most of the time.

I sympathise. I've always struggled with buying clothes. DH once treated me to a personal shopping day at John Lewis. The personal shopper just shook her head and admitted defeat after everything she brought me to try on looked ridiculous with my 34gg boobs . I was in tears by the end of the session.

Pepperberry is very hit and miss if you are an apple shape and their shirts always seemed too fitted around the waist for me. I never found one that worked. I have a wardrobe full of their jersey dresses though as they were the only dresses I could wear. Never the height of fashion though. I found that Wallis always had the best selection of boob friendly clothes and Sainsbury often had some nice fitting things.

I've very recently given in and had a reduction. It's so lovely finally being able to wear a standard size 12 dress and not being restricted to v necked tops.
