Bought 3 party dresses, help me choose one!

Posted earlier about a bright pink dress for my work Xmas do, but decided to follow advice and find something else. So I went late night shopping and couldn't choose between three dresses so I bought them all and will return two of them once I've made up my mind. Please tell me your favorites and help me choose!

I'm 38, 5'4" and the do is dinner and dance in a hotel. Hope the links work:

Number 3.

I like number 1 as well but dislike number 2, it's nowhere near as nice as the others imo.

I like 1 and 3, but 3 gets my vote.

2 is the least interesting. I like 1 but depends on the fit on you, and 3 is very pretty.

I think it depends on which you feel the best in!

Well this thread is helpful - not! Grin
Pretty equal votes for each of them.

Definitely number 1 for me. Far more sophisticated and elegant than the other two.

I vote 3, with 1 coming a close 2nd place.
I'm not feeling the love for 2.

No 2 is my favourite & the most flattering.

number 3

Absolutely number 1. The other two are less sophisticated

Number 3 is beautiful. I'm sure there are never such pretty party dresses around when I'm not too pregnant to fit in them Envy

No 2 is quite boring.

1 or 3

1 or 3. 1 is more sophisticated and 3 is pretty. 2 is really meh, nothing stand out about it

3, as long as you have a perky bust or a very decent underwired bra Grin

If not then 2, glammed up a lot. Silver accessories probably, and would suit your height.

3 is just a tad daytime wedding guest, and navy is not usually a great choice for a fitted dress for that reason. A midnight chiffon maxi for a ball - yes, but tailored, fitted pencil dress does not say Party. Also the midi length is best suited to slightly taller frames.

Sorry - I meant 1 is a tad daytime wedding guest, not 3.

1 - it's very elegant.

I do like the other too though.

It would be good to see them on as that's the only way to really tell.

No 1 is a bit dull in my humble opinion.

I love number 3 but you'd need a strapless bra. And black or glittery tights, not the nude ones in pic.

No 2 is ok but I'd be tempted to bling it right up with some jewellery / glitzy bag.

Disclaimer: I love sparkly stuff and am slightly distressed by the lack of sequins.

I like 1. Can't see 3

I'm about same age, same height OP and I'd choose number 3. Love the dipped hemline, the cut of the waist and the net trim. How about try all 3 on, post pics and let us decide then?

No2 for op

I like no 1 but think no2 would be far more flattering rather than just s lively dress

No comment on no3

I'm not mad about any of them but

1 is too Wag at a wedding
2 is too dull

So 3 wins by default!

I agree with Satan (there's some words I thought I'd never utter!) about No 1.

No 2 is fine.

No 3 is very partyish and looks good for dancing.

Number 3 is gorgeous!

No 1 definitely. The other two are a little mutton dressed as lamb when your almost 40. Sorry.

1 is nice but not best suited for eating or dancing.

2 could look fab with the right accessories and shoes..

3 looks like it would be fun to wear but do you have a bra that would work under it?
