The BEST lip balm ever!

Disclaimer: I don't work for them! I just wanted to share, after following a recommendation on here, that Nuxe reve de Miel lip balm is the best I've ever used! My daughter and I have awful chapped lips, this sorted it almost overnight. I'm so pleased! Free delivery on their website too!

Vaseline

Tried that many times, did nothing other than sit there greasily.

Lansinoh nipple cream is amazing as a lip balm

Burt's Bees for me and I'm such a lip balm junkie that I don't remember the last time I had chapped lips

Vaseline is rubbish for properly chapped lips. I'm allergic to the Nuxe one and to Lansinoh. I'm currently using Blistex with a layer of Dr Bronner's on top.

I think I may be addicted to the Nuxe, just ordered more. I'm interested in the Dr Bronner though, does it have a strong taste/ smell?

Love the nuxe one, very effective. Also lansinoh. Both better than Vaseline imo

I use Vaseline every day throughout the year as a matter of course and never get chapped or dry lips in winter so maybe it is a case of prevention is better than the cure.

I like the Nuxe one, it's my bedtime lip balm and Carmex during the day. Don't understand people who love Vaseline, it just slips off me and seems to make things worse.

Blistex intensive moisture is the only thing that actually moisturises instead of sitting in my lips like Vaseline, Carmex etc.

The Dr Bronner ones come in a variety of flavours. I tend to use mint or ginger in the winter and mint or lemon and lime in the summer. I think there is an unscented one, too, but I'm not sure.

The Elemis peppermint one for me

It's part of the free wash bag on BA flights so it's easy to buy from eBay because cabin crew sell the ones from unused sets!

Although a bit of good old Blistex is great for me when I have super chapped lips

I hate the gritty, dry texture of Nuxe. I'' a Blistex (tube) woman through & through.

Carmex nothing comes close

Thanks OP - I don't really like the nuxe lip balm at all, I find it to be a really dry consistency need to persevere with it though to finish it and tried it today with a bit of dr lipp (basically lansinoh) over the top and that was lovely

My faves are Arden 8 hour lip balm or lipfusion xl

L'occitane lip balm is excellent

I think Creme de la mar is the best lip balm it's incredibly expensive, it was the only thing that used to save my lips and then I tired Mama Mia nipple balm which is a fraction of the price and equally as good IMO. I suffer so badly with crapped and bleeding lips it's agonisingly painful and happens really quickly.

Love other nuxe products though, but it doesn't cut it for me :(

I don't find the nuxe one that good, even the expensive one in the pot.

I got burns from the Nuxe one. On the top of my lip and bottom lip. My skin does not like something in their ingredients. To be fair to them they refunded me straight away when I contacted them and returned it.
I find Clinique super balm in the green tube to be the best.
