Grin

Finally.

I always thought I 'ought' to like their stuff.
I ventured in to one of their shops for the first time yesterday.
And yes, I do like their stuff Grin

Bought a top and would've bought a dress had it been available in my size.
Now tempted to get it online and have signed up to their newsletter, hoping for 10% or summat off as a welcome pressie, but sadly no

So now I am sitting on my hands and am furiously looking at eBay offerings

Just had to share.

What have I just seen Confused

CountFosco · 13/12/2016 22:11

OK, I'm pissed off at them now. Had a prepaid sticker but post office refused to accept it. Phoned up COS who said 'Oh, we often get this problem, try again and call us if there's a problem'. Had the problem again in a different post office, called but got no response. Tried first post office again, explained my conversation with COS, they still couldn't get it to work so I had to pay the best part of £20 to get the parcel sent to the Netherlands! Hmm. Might have to take the train to the nearest big city with a COS at this rate if I want any more of their clothes.

Dulcimena · 13/12/2016 22:45

Not sure why you're annoyed with Cos when the Post Office were at fault? Call them again anyway and explain what happened, they always deliver excellent customer service ime.

CountFosco · 13/12/2016 23:19

I'm annoyed at COS because they told me they've had this problem before but have not done anything to rectify it. And implied it was because I'd used a 'small post office'. And they didn't answer the phone when I called again. And they only have the minimum 14 days return period. Why not provide prepaid labels that actually work rather than causing confusion in the post office? I buy tons online and this is the only time this has happened to me. Anyway, an email of complaint has been sent so we'll see what happens.

Rustythedog · 13/12/2016 23:35

It happened to me once and I buy A LOT online. I emailed Cos the receipt for the postage and they refunded me less their own charge. As they currently have free postage, you will probably get it all back.

Rustythedog · 13/12/2016 23:36

And I agree, the issue is with the post office you used NOT Cos. They supply return labels, they can't control it if a small number of post offices refuse to accept them.

mylittlephoney · 13/12/2016 23:37

Damn I thought you were talking about lettuce.

Dulcimena · 13/12/2016 23:40

The labels do work - I use them. The post office staff don't recognise them but they can and do process them. Not sure what else you expect cos to do, provide in house training for UK post office staff who don't understand prepaid labels? I expect you'll be pleasantly surprised when you hear back.

PacificDogwod · 14/12/2016 07:30

Lettuce! Grin I do love a bit of cos lettuce.

Will there be a sale? Soon??

Are Cos any good at trousers? I'm after the perfect pair for next year: ankle length, beautifully cut and a little bit swishy but not too wide; the kind that will make me look like Katherine Hepburn so no pressure.

taybert · 14/12/2016 08:07

I had that with the label- they refunded me the postage without a problem, I emailed customer services and they sorted it out. If you go to your order online and request a return you can print off a special UK postage label. I asked them why they put the confusing label in and they said it's because everything comes from one warehouse for the whole of Europe and that label should be accepted in all the countries they ship to, but there are sometimes problems with the U.K. Post office.

JeNeSuisPasVotreMiel · 15/12/2016 01:59

Going to check out the trousers. ..

Satisfactorylemon · 15/12/2016 05:56

The title is vomit inducing...

bellissimiaow · 15/12/2016 07:16

My local charity shop gets brand new Cos seconds. I'm going in today to have a look if anyone's after anything in particular? It won't be current but there's usually a selection of tops and dresses.

Kr1stina · 15/12/2016 08:35

What a kind offer!

CountFosco · 15/12/2016 18:49

Two days since I sent my email to complain and I still haven't heard back. Why didn't the man I spoke to when I called up say 'get the UK label on the website'? Grrr.

My jumper is lovely though and DH's trousers are also very nice.

Dulcimena · 15/12/2016 18:58

I'm sure you'll hear soon. Did you try calling them again? Glad you like the jumper though, the green is a gorgeous colour and I think that one's v well made
