M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

But shit!*

BumWad · 13/12/2016 20:06

Fucks sake...

I love the hand cream, I've nearly finished it. Last week it was on offer in waitrose for £6.66.

The cleansing balm I love.

Love the nails inc polish.

The eyeliner is great it really doesn't budge.

alotlikeChristmas16 · 13/12/2016 20:16

i love the handcream too, and i'm not much for handcream usually. It's cute

dillite · 13/12/2016 21:53

I like the hand cream and the hair oil the most so far and will definitely buy both. Just applied both varnishes, and have to say that I am not too keen on the Nails Inc one, it's a bit too brownish for me. I much prefer the M&S one. I have also tried out Rodial chemical peel tonight, it didn't tingle and I can't say that my skin looks any different. We will see what happens tomorrow, perhaps I might wake up missing my permanently red cheeks.

nickdrakeslovechild · 13/12/2016 22:27

ooohhhh, I open mine at night for the next day. Tomorrows is brilliant!! Love it.

RubbishRobotFromTheDawnOfTime · 13/12/2016 22:32

My 5yo DS is desperate for me to get a lipstick for some reason. I keep telling him there will be one soon. Day 13 and no lipstick!

Howaboutthisone · 13/12/2016 22:33

I felt a bit disappointed seeing the teeny size of the pot this morning so it's good to hear the good reviews it's been getting. And you're right- eye creams are usually pretty small!
I also think the hand cream is one of my favourites so far. But then I think the things I like most about the calendar are the lovely surprise every morning, and trying out things I would never usually spend on without being able to try first (or not be able to afford generally!)

Tessticklesyourfancy · 13/12/2016 22:45

I've painted my nails this evening with the nails inc polish. It looks really nice but I'll wait and see how it lasts. I've used their base and top coat too but I usually find nails inc chips like buggery. Still not tried the hand cream and haven't used the autograph polish, eyeliner or eye cream. I'm really happy with the calendar so far. I will use the hand cream when I finish the one I'm using at the moment, but I don't think I'll touch the eyeliner, not worn black eyeliner since the 80s Sad

BumWad · 13/12/2016 22:49

Just used the eye cream. Funny texture but felt lovely and cooling and very rich and moisturising. You only need a tiny bit.

I'm in love with the Rodial acid peel. Best thing ever.

mowglik · 13/12/2016 23:05

My favourite bit so far is probably the rodial peel been using it every 3 days so far and it's been great, my skins been lovely and soft. Also like the hair oil and the eyeliner is fab, it really doesn't budge! Colour of nails inc polish is lovely too. Tomorrows is heavy wonder what it could be Xmas Wink

Ingles2 · 13/12/2016 23:07

It's the nails inc varnish that chips really easily.. I usually use the Rimmel gel one and it's much tougher.. But tbh I'm happy to discover this kind of info.. So far I love the hand cream and the towel but my fave is the time filler! I have a couple of crows feet and they totally disappear .. Have already bought some for my bf, who has been following the calendar with envy..actually she's getting all the stuff I don't want 😊

Ingles2 · 13/12/2016 23:08

Towel! That's meant to be acid peel! 😆

maggiso · 13/12/2016 23:50

Ooh I did not look properly at the eye cream - but if it helps eye bags I must try it! ( mine will be a tough trial I fear)
My favourite so far is also the cleansing balm. I am pleased with the hand cream and the small brush. Not tried the acid peel yet as I have very sensitive skin. I rarely wear nail varnish (not allowed at work) but like both colours for when I do.
I have lost my sense of smell but like to smell nice to others. So does the cleansing balm leave your skin smelling nice?

MoonlightMedicine · 14/12/2016 06:17

Today's is exciting!!

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 14/12/2016 06:32

Oh hello, Nuxe! This is the one I bought the calendar for!

cakeinmyfacehole · 14/12/2016 06:58

It looks and smells lovely! How is it used?

This calendar is going to send me on a wonderfully slippery slope to new product knowledge Xmas Smile

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 14/12/2016 06:59

I used it on hair, arms, legs, even on the face at night.

One of my favourite smells. I once found the eau de cologne version, in Hong Kong, of all places. So nice!

MelanieCheeks · 14/12/2016 07:00

Is the eye cream for using overnight?

panicovernow · 14/12/2016 07:05

I'm loving this calendar, and trying out new products. The temptation to open all the boxes at once is huge! So far I've been goodWink today's looks good I think, need to look it up to find out how to use it Xmas Smile

I have just WON a calendar so dd & I spent last night opening all 13 boxes to catch up!! Possibly the most exciting day of my life..Grin

We both did the acid peel last night, and I love the hand cream and hair oil already. Excited to try the liquid gold and the wrinkle filler. Today's looks great, don't know much about it but smells delicious and as dd didn't much fancy this one I'll be keeping it all for myself. Tips on how to use would be great.

bellissimiaow · 14/12/2016 07:15

My cat is also LOVING the little green tissue papers..

cakeinmyfacehole · 14/12/2016 07:58

Ooh thanks moonlight

Bellissimiaow that's brilliant! I am impressed with my own self control waiting for each day to open the box. But you get to open a load and it's legit!
