M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

I feel quite scared of the alpha gold! Is it suitable for all skin types? My skin isn't sensitive, but I do get some redness (rosacea?) on my cheeks - wouldn't want to make that worse...

AmethystMoon · 08/12/2016 16:50

Love today's!

Umm I have bought three calendars....Blush

But one was mainly to use as gifts.....Hmm

Moogdroog · 08/12/2016 17:42

I'm so enjoying having an advent calendar for myself. Some great things so far, and some things that I need to find a new home for (hair stuff in particular, as I'm trying out the Curly Girl method).
The question is... I bought two calendars... Should I keep the other for the good bits? Or flog it on eBay now I've seen what they're going for (I got it with discount, so could double my money, and I was feeling guilty....)

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 17:54

Grin @ Amethyst

I'd flog it Moondog, you end up with 2 lots of things you don't want, you could buy the thing you like the most with the money. Smile

Needastrongone · 08/12/2016 17:57

you'll

WidowTwonky · 08/12/2016 18:28

Save it for next year moondog. I bought this and the asos one, but left the asos calendar untouched. Will use it next year instead 😉

Moogdroog · 08/12/2016 18:32

Needastrongone - yes, you're right. If I set some of that money aside for the thing I've been most convinced by, then I'm onto a winner aren't I. You are wise indeed.

Moogdroog · 08/12/2016 18:33

Widow - also a very good idea that I'd not considered... Hmmm.

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 09/12/2016 07:16

I like today's nail polish. I might do a festive pedicure tonight.

FranKubelik · 09/12/2016 07:36

Love today's. I have quite a few autograph nail colours already and really like them. This colour is a new one for me though - looks fab.

ThisNight · 09/12/2016 07:39

This is just what I was hoping for as I have a party tomorrow, and I love the colour Xmas Grin.

yay.. pretty colour and I've got a Christmas dinner tonight :D
Still trying to decide if I should give the skin thing from yesterday a go or give it to a friend.. Has anyone tried it yet?

Bubbinsmakesthree · 09/12/2016 08:19

In the name of research and not because I crashed out after a Christmas party I wore the Eyeko eyeliner overnight and it hadn't budged or smudged!

Quite excited by yesterday's and the Rodial acid thingy, but a bit nervous of using them whilst I'm pregnant. I stopped using anything with salycylic acid whilst pregnant as I know that it is not recommended, but I still use Pixi Glow everyday (got hooked after last year's calendar!). Any advice?

happychristmasbum · 09/12/2016 09:21

Love the cranberry colour. I thought there may be a red polish, and was hoping it wouldn't be a tomato type red which I don't like at all. This colour is lovely and the finish is very festive.

YouWereRight · 09/12/2016 09:48

I felt a but nonplussed about today's, but knew that my mum would love the colour.

I didn't like the fat lid, or the colour massively. Then I slapped some on my toes, and the lid popped off, and the colour is lovely. My lovely mum's not getting it after all.

don't like this colour at all

oh well...

woodhill · 09/12/2016 15:46

I love the colour

Costacoffeeplease · 09/12/2016 16:05

I like it - I normally only wear polish on my toes but have done my fingernails today Smile

Needastrongone · 09/12/2016 16:50

I like it too. I have shellac on my fingers as I'm useless at varnish staying on but would try it on my toes for sure.

Pengweng · 09/12/2016 18:00

Does everyone's nail varnish have two lids or is mine just broken? The big square lid comes off to reveal a normal one underneath. Kind of annoying. I do like the colour but I can't wear nail varnish at work and so rarely do my nails. Might put it in my mums stocking.

CointreauVersial · 09/12/2016 18:06

Gorgeous festive nail varnish colour - definitely one I didn't have in my vast collection already.

Costacoffeeplease · 09/12/2016 18:15

I think that's just the design of the lid
