M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

I love the eyeliner, really pleased with it, used it this morning and I've found it really easy to use. Apparently recommended by Lisa Eldridge, it's nice and proper black so it just glides on Smile

I've just tried it and it was dead simple, I normally use a pencil but the liquid one was fine. Apparently it helps if you put dots across the eyelid then join them up (or so I've seen on a demo!)

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 06/12/2016 09:45

Just tried the Eyelure. The tip is a different shape than I'm used to, so I've ended up with quite a dramatic eye look... I have a semi-important interview in about half an hour, so I hope they don't mind!

MyWitlessPal · 06/12/2016 09:53

That hair oil is amazing. My hair is doing the wobbly shaky thing it only ever does after the salon.

I'm thrilled Grin

newpup · 06/12/2016 10:19

Oh Dear! I tried the eyeliner this morning and DD17 and I were in hysterics!
Clearly not meant for me, never mind Adele I looked like Captain Jack Sparrow!
I normally use Clinique soft smokey brown, I looked crazy eyed! It was worth it to see DD1 laugh at 7.20 in the morning! Grin

jinglytinglypasta · 06/12/2016 10:50

Hair oil works well for me if I use it on damp hair before blow drying.

Eyeliner is lovely - I veer towards the subtle line along my upper lashes rather than a full on flick so that will get used too.

Did I mention how much I love this calendar? It's like Birchbox every day for a month!

Newpup - Jack Sparrow Grin

Jack Sparrow ! Giggled out loud at that.I usually use navy or smoky grey so this gave me a bit of a Lesley Joseph look. Some of the children I work with gave me some odd looks today as if they knew something wasn't right but they weren't sure what.
Loving the whole experience of the calendar so far though.

happychristmasbum · 06/12/2016 19:23

Another one without the panache/steadiness of hand to carry off a liquid eyeliner but DD will love it - her eye make up is a work of art.

I bloody love my calendar!

Howaboutthisone · 06/12/2016 19:55

I'm another one loving the calendar! Such a lovely treat every morning!xx

Needastrongone · 06/12/2016 21:16

I'm loving it too, I've gifted the eyeliner to DD, but the rest will be kept and used by moi..

I've used the acid peel twice now and that really does soften the skin.

Costa Did you find yesterday's offering from the Sanctuary mildly odd?! Otherwise this one is spot on too.

Ingles2 · 07/12/2016 07:22

Today's gift is a bit meh! Hope we've still got some good stuff to come

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 07/12/2016 07:25

Today's gift seems a bit out of season! I've tucked it away for later in the year.

I've never used liquid eyeliner. I'm bkt sure whether to give it a go or pass it on to SIL.

Costacoffeeplease · 07/12/2016 07:27

Yes need I'm assuming it's for shopping and present lists, but definitely odd Smile

MoonlightMedicine · 07/12/2016 07:40

Yes today's is a bit meh, but I know it'll be great for the summer.

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 07/12/2016 08:09

SPF!! Are they having a laugh!?

Definitely one for the holiday drawer!

Today's product is just what I need as I plan on using that peel tonight.

Those of you who wear spf every day, how do you wear make-up on top? I always find that spf makes my skin all claggy and sticky and that it's impossible to wear any sort of make-up, even a mascara.

Dillite2 · 07/12/2016 08:26

And don't even start me on glasses sliding off my nose.

Needastrongone · 07/12/2016 08:44

I'm happy with today's product too, I'm also happy with the level of SPF. It will wait until the spring though.

If I waited until 6th December to write a Christmas list Costa, I would be in meltdown. Grin

I'm a bit obsessed with these advent calendars, I've just used the money DF has given me for Christmas to order the Nuxe 10 days of Christmas one, otherwise I would be bereft on Christmas Day!

Like Rudy, spf50 every day here. Soltan do a sensitive face one (Boots 6_quid) that is not that greasy.

sleighmyname · 07/12/2016 09:48

Loving today's, I also use SPF everyday and was running out.
Had ultrasun in a previous M&S box and really liked it. Might have to invest in a full size
