M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

Today's is exciting - my brows tend to need a bit of taming but not tried a product like this before.

By my tally we must have exceeded £35 of stuff just in the first four days, not bad going!

CointreauVersial · 04/12/2016 21:23

Brow Tamer going into DD1's Christmas stocking - she'll love it.

Dillite2 · 04/12/2016 21:40

Have you seen how much the calendars are selling on ebay for?

ThisNight · 04/12/2016 21:50

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged I bought one for my mum as well as me - I knew she wouldn't like everything so I got dh and ds to look through the boxes and replace things they thought she wouldn't like. So far she is thrilled with everything and loving opening every day. She's 82, and has never had an advent calendar of any kind. Xmas Smile

Love the smell of today's gift.. Not sure it's for me, but will give it a go shortly.

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 05/12/2016 07:20

I really like the hair oil. Smells amazing.

I am yet to be disappointed by this calendar!

MoonlightMedicine · 05/12/2016 07:27

Today's is gorgeous and perfect timing for me!

FranKubelik · 05/12/2016 07:39

The calendar has been great so far. This is the first year I've bought one and I'm very pleased I did. Looking forward to using today's product - it has good reviews.

CiderwithBuda · 05/12/2016 08:38

I'm enjoying it all so far. Not sure about the brow tamer but liking everything else.

M&S do Beauty Boxes a couple of times a year so maybe they recycle th products from the unused calendars into those. I bought a beauty box during the year and it had similar types of products.

BumWad · 05/12/2016 10:08

Hand cream - love it! Very luxurious
Acid peel - this has been amazing! I am going to buy a full size when it's finished, I've got oily congested skin, it's smoothed it all out
Brow tamer - sorted out my unruly brows no problem, was invisible and not sticky at all
Wrinkle filler - not needed it's gone to my sis Grin
Hair oil - can't wait to use it! Only wash my hair once a week so will get my mum to massage it on the night before and wash it off in the morning.

All in all I'm pleased

woodhill · 05/12/2016 10:54

I still haven't had a response from my email, not sure about their customer service

Pengweng · 05/12/2016 11:01

Not sure about the hair oil but will give it ago.
I have lost my hand cream Angry
I suspect my husband has stolen it (not really).

I don't think i used enough of the acid peel thing or maybe i shouldn't have done it while in the bath as I don't think it did anything.

Love the brow gel. I use a similar product anyway so this can go in my handbag.

Envy of those who don't need wrinkle cream! Send me yours to fill my twins didn't sleep through the night until they were 3 eye bags and wrinkles. Grin

jinglytinglypasta · 05/12/2016 12:24

Love this calendar!

OverScentedFanjo · 05/12/2016 12:49

Hair oil smells amazing, but it's not for me. I have very oily hair and don't need anymore oil!

Will have to find a home for that one, but it's the first I haven't used so far.

CointreauVersial · 05/12/2016 13:29

Ooh, I'm all over hair oil at the moment! It's brilliant to soften my hair now that I'm getting more greys - it is getting so parched.

BabyGanoush · 05/12/2016 13:52

I still have moroccan again oil for my hair, which I use one single drop of twice a week, so it will last me for another 10 years. AFTER that I'll sue up this hair oil. It smells a bit masculine, non?

may give it to DH

FourEyesGood · 05/12/2016 16:21

I'm a hair oil novice: do I apply it to dry hair, then wet it, shampoo it and rinse it, or wet my hair first?

Squigglypig · 05/12/2016 16:26

I popped a bit on my dry ends earlier (like a serum) and it worked a treat!

happychristmasbum · 05/12/2016 17:09

Thisnight That's so sweet, I am so happy for your mum Flowers

Peng I don't have wrinkles but I have awesome eye bags Xmas Grin

Wood thats a bit shit.

Another one with oily hair but DD will absolutely love the hair oil, she uses a L'Oreal one that smells divine so hopefully she will like this - will pop in stocking along with the brow gel. Still very happy overall.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 05/12/2016 21:02

ThisNight - great idea. I hope she's loving it.

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 06/12/2016 06:49

Eyeko!!! I've always wanted to try that brand, and I will never say no to an eyeliner, so I'm pretty happy.

MoonlightMedicine · 06/12/2016 06:58

The hair oil is absolutely incredible. You just use a tiny TINY drop, rub it into your hands and smooth it over your hair. My hair is so glossy and swishy after using it. I'm a huge fan.

ThisNight · 06/12/2016 07:09

Not thrilled with the eyeliner, although I could consider the Adele look this Christmas Xmas Smile.

Luckily I have a friend with a couple of teen dds who will take anything I can't use.

AwkwardSquad · 06/12/2016 07:13

Mine will be on its way to a teen niece! I could try the Adele look, but it'd end up more the Robert Smith on a bad day look.

Dillite2 · 06/12/2016 07:36

Love the hair oil! I have been smelling my hair all night. Also it was fantastic for stopping frizz from forming!

I will be giving my eyeliner to my mum, I can't use liquid eyeliners as they burn my eyes.
