M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

It took me ages to find today's box!! That's what bring woken at 5 every day does to a woman!!

rocket74 · 04/12/2016 07:05

Excited about today's offering. Mine need all the help they can get!

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 04/12/2016 07:16

Ooooh I'm really happy with today's! I used to use it, but switched to a different (cheaper Grin) brand that doesn't work so well. Glad to have the Pixi stuff again.

It's a proper sized one, too!

Needastrongone · 04/12/2016 07:24

See, I'm not so fussed about this one as it's not useful for me, but DD might well use. But that's absolutely fine with me, there's bound to be days where I'm over the moon and days I'm less excited, it's a generic calendar. And I've been over the moon so far.

The Sanctuary one was a bit 'meh' yesterday but has come up trumps today. Smile

I love all the products so far!! I am so pleased I treated myself to it, I have used every one so far trying to pamper myself in the run up to Christmas, love box number 4 I needed some new product so especially pleased with this one

Plockplock · 04/12/2016 07:53

I'm donating number 4 box to DH, he needs it! He's always hovering when I open it and was very interested in today's gift Grin

Ingles2 · 04/12/2016 08:06

Excellent! I wanted one of these and told dh to get one for my stocking Smile

DorothyBastard · 04/12/2016 08:13

How do you use today's? I usually use ABH dipbrow or a Rimmel pencil, do I just use this over the top of that?

I've put some on already. Haven't showered or anything yet, it's Sunday morning after all, but my brows are tidy!

Arsenicinthesugarbowl · 04/12/2016 08:39

I'm happy with today's as I've recently got into keeping my brows in good shape. Plus my daughters are poised to sweep up anything I won't use!

val4 · 04/12/2016 08:42

Love today's........BUT. I have a feeling when my 2 teenage sleeping beauties arise they will want it!!!

ThisNight · 04/12/2016 08:43

Plock I read that as he's always hoovering, I was imagining your really clean house.

I've already tried it on dh - he looks fab!

Plockplock · 04/12/2016 08:50

Ha, Thisnight, DH never hoovers, left to him we'd be wading through a foot of dust and crumbs! Today's gift has tamed his Dennis Healey's Grin.

val4 · 04/12/2016 09:07

I'm also keeping the boxes . I intend to wrap my dd's makeup gifts in tissue paper, and pop them in the various boxes for their stockings!

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 04/12/2016 09:11

I can't imagine using today's, but I know my DNs will fight over it so I'm putting it in the 'regift' box.

I'm also keeping the box. I was going to get my mum one of these this year but didn't think she'd like the make up. I'm going to use this year's box to make a personalised one for next year.

pk78 · 04/12/2016 09:55

Does anyone know if MandS are still selling these? I want one now after reading this thread!

Littlepumpkinpie · 04/12/2016 10:05

PK78 M&S pull them from sale on the 30th November. Try eBay you might be lucky

pk78 · 04/12/2016 10:34

Gutted! Will have a snoop around in eBay.
Thanks.

Dillite2 · 04/12/2016 11:00

My eyebrows are pathetically sparce so today's product feels wasted on them.

What happens to all the unsold advent calendars? Do they get recycled into next year's calendars or binned?

AwkwardSquad · 04/12/2016 11:11

I was wondering that, Dillite2. Wouldn't it be great if they were donated to Refuge or similar charity? Doubt it, though.

sleighmyname · 04/12/2016 11:56

Considering they massively overstocked, I wonder if any of this years products will pop up in next years calendar?

My day 4 is going to 17 year old DD don't think I'll use it. Nice it was a full size product though

BabyGanoush · 04/12/2016 12:08

I imagine they may repackage items as mother's day gifts etc. Or sell the full size ones individually.

happychristmasbum · 04/12/2016 12:10

Like PP I wouldn't use the brow tamer as mine are sparse but DD will love it so will regift. I think it's worth £12 for those who like to keep count.

I can't wait for tomorrow!!!!

val4 · 04/12/2016 18:53

Knew it.....my 15 yr old dd has just claimed today's offering. 😞
