M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

L'occitane one here. Lovely cooling verbena handcream yesterday, shea butter body lotion today. Really looking forward to seeing what else I get.

GeekyWombat · 02/12/2016 18:31

Got this calendar as a gift from lovely MIL. Not usually a beauty product person but am in love with the hand cream. Bit scared of the face mask - acid sounds harsh!

BabyGanoush · 02/12/2016 20:06

I am too scared to use it too Grin

What are we like, bunch of skincare lightweights!

Needastrongone · 02/12/2016 20:58

I used it tonight. It's lovely. No pink skin or tingling etc. My skin is lovely and soft, but did need to moisturise afterwards tbf. I would buy the hand cream again, not so sure about the peel, but it is nice and I am still over the moon so far with the calendar.

For the record, normal skin, not sensitive etc. Smile

BabyGanoush · 02/12/2016 22:06

Just googled the price of the Rodial, it's not cheap

So must be good Grin

camelfinger · 02/12/2016 22:34

It stung my face when I put it on, but seems ok now. Feels nice, just looks a bit red but it always does when I put stuff on it. Would be good if we got a sunscreen for tomorrow.

MoonlightMedicine · 03/12/2016 06:19

Am I the first to open today's? I'm off to google as its new to me.

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 03/12/2016 07:14

Ooh - just opened mine. What is this rare magic?

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 03/12/2016 07:17

"a botox-like tripeptide limits muscular contractions and relaxes the skin for a younger-looking face."

!!!!

I'm going to pit it against my crow's feet...

cakeinmyfacehole · 03/12/2016 07:23

It's quite different to Polyfiller isn't it! I love this calendar for introducing me to exciting new things (that I would never fork out for separately)

Ingles2 · 03/12/2016 07:28

Morning..just found you all! Am loving my calendar so far.. The hand cream is gorgeous, not tried the peel yet but will gig it a go over the weekend.. And today's is very intriguing! Can't wait to try Xmas Grin

Needastrongone · 03/12/2016 08:20

It might lose against my crows feet but looks lovely and again I am chuffed to bits with the quality of the products so far.

My skin is so soft today after the peel last night.

BabyGanoush · 03/12/2016 08:43

Oh! Looking forward to trying this!

Will try it underneath my usual moisturiser.

It has good reviews!

Liiinoo · 03/12/2016 08:46

I had great results with the peel. My skin was very red afterwards but it calmed down over the day. I went out last night and the texture and tone of my skin was so good I didn't need c0ncealer or foundation, just some bronzer and powder.

Just tried today's. I am hoping that next time I pass a mirror my 20-something self will be looking back at me.

newpup · 03/12/2016 08:50

Late to this thread! I love the hand cream, the orange scent is yummy. I was intrigued by the acid rush peel and a bit scared! But I tried it last night, I only used a small amount in case of a reaction, it sounds so harsh but it is wonderful! My skin is glowing and so soft this morning! I looked it up online and it costs £75 for a 50ml size so not cheap but I love it and will definitely be purchasing in the future.
Also intrigued by the time filler today, never used this before but botox in a tube sounds good! This is my first beauty calendar and I love it!

panicovernow · 03/12/2016 08:58

Really please with box 3. Hope it will diminish my number 11 frown linesHmm

Arsenicinthesugarbowl · 03/12/2016 09:25

Box 3 is a totally new thing for me! I shall be googling away to see what to do with it!

OverScentedFanjo · 03/12/2016 09:37

I'd like some instructions on how to use these gems. Today's I have no idea about. Do I leave it on all day or only a few mins?

I feel a bit flat about today's. Maybe I'm too young for the calendar.

mowglik · 03/12/2016 10:00

fanjo I don't have wrinkles (yet) either to use it on but i did read you could use it all over before foundation for a general lift

I am saving mine for when ds2 arrives in march as I will prob rapidly develop some wrinkles then to try it on Xmas Grin

woodhill · 03/12/2016 10:07

Gutted I didn't get the hand cream but I have contacted them.

happychristmasbum · 03/12/2016 10:10

woodhill I woke this morning thinking of you - not in a crazystalkerlady way you understand Xmas Grin Please tell us you didn't get another effin face mask????

I don't have many wrinkles, despite being an old gimmer, but I will happily pit todays cream against what I do have.

Agree with PP - it's great to have the opportunity to try new fangled products I wouldn't ordinarily shell out for. Aside from that unfortunate afternoon I went drinking in Soho and ended up in House of Fraser playing fast and loose with my credit card..............

happychristmasbum · 03/12/2016 10:11

Cross post!!!!

AwkwardSquad · 03/12/2016 10:18

I've just applied a bit of today's offering to my frown lines. It smells lovely.

GinIsIn · 03/12/2016 10:28

Ok I am late to the party but I am LOVING this advent calendar! The hand cream is lovely. I'm another one too scared to try the peel at the moment as I'm currently quite pregnant so I don't want to tempt fate by putting anything too harsh on my face. Will definitely be cracking it open once the baby is here though!
