M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

I would like to think so happySmile

Won't reveal

Already got a few hand creams on the go so saving this until one of those runs out. I worry they'll go off! Very pleased....going to like this thread Xmas Grin

MountainDweller · 02/12/2016 00:19

I have one but... It is in Gloucestershire and I am in France! Waaaah! I couldn't resist a quick sneaky peek to see what people are getting! Hand cream? Always a winner with me, the climate is v dry here and I have sandpaper hands all winter!

All will be well next weekend when we are going to the uk to pick it up and go to all the UK shops I miss go to see PIL for a pre-Christmas visit. Am looking forward to binge opening the first week (might save it till I get home in case I have to share my goodies with MIL or SIL!)

I have a look fantastic one too and was not overly impressed by the teeny weeny bottle of pixi glow toner that was today's offering. I actually started using this after getting a decent sized sample in last year's M&S calendar. One plus though - it has gone straight in my wash bag for aforementioned trip.

paddlenorapaddle · 02/12/2016 06:19

The hand cream from yesterday was fabulous, anyone else up early just to open the next one ?

This feels like a real treat for me we don't even do Christmas presents

enjoyingscience · 02/12/2016 07:23

Just found this thread! The hand cream yesterday was lovely, not so sure about acid face mask today, but only because face masks usually make me break out. Might wait until January to try it (when there are fewer times I have to go out in public)

jelly10 · 02/12/2016 07:24

I've opened number 2! I'm a bit scared though - all that talk of acid and extra sun protection. What's it going to do to my face Confused

Arsenicinthesugarbowl · 02/12/2016 07:29

I've opened number 2! I'm already making some slow changes to my skincare so will resist temptation to slather over my face just yet!
Don't want a load of festive spots in my face. My daughter "helped" me open this morning and at 9 and 17 they are poised to swoop in on anything they like the look of!

panicovernow · 02/12/2016 07:29

Box 2 is not being used until January here too! Can't risk a skin reaction now!

MoonlightMedicine · 02/12/2016 07:33

Marking my place!

ThisNight · 02/12/2016 08:01

I can't believe how easy it is to jump out of bed to open my calendar on these cold, dark mornings.

Very pleased with box 2 as my motivation for getting the calendar was to try some new products and have a bit of pampering in the run up to Christmas.

I am going to a party next Saturday so will hopefully look 10 years younger by then Grin

happychristmasbum · 02/12/2016 08:45

ThisNight I have every faith!!!

Acid peel looks interesting. I will try it over the weekend. I can't find a cost for 20ml but 50ml is £75 at John Lewis.

I am so glad I got this calendar Xmas Smile

Needastrongone · 02/12/2016 08:58

Another winner for box 2 imho. Never tried, but keen to do so.

Liiinoo · 02/12/2016 09:23

Just used box 2. Skin is very smooth, but pinkish. A good excuse to stay indoors today.

woodhill · 02/12/2016 09:48

I've got the same thing again, the face mask. Perhaps I've got an odd one

Needastrongone · 02/12/2016 09:56

That's definitely doesn't seem right Woodhill, I would contact them I think.

AmethystMoon · 02/12/2016 10:19

Oooh I love a good acid peel!
Terribly oily acne prone skin and acids keep it under control......stops those pesky blocked pores in their tracks Xmas Grin

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 02/12/2016 11:10

I'm loving the hand cream from yesterday! I was planning to try the peel now but I'm going out tonight and I'm scared of red-face...

Might give it a whirl anyway.

So far I'm glad I got the M&S calendar.

jelly10 · 02/12/2016 12:05

I'm going away this weekend - should I open box 3 today before I go or would that be cheating...? Wink (though since I've told DD she has to wait until we get back for her advent I suppose I should wait Blush)

2014newme · 02/12/2016 12:07

I have the clarins one. Make up remover and cleanser so far # boring 💤

Cherrypi · 02/12/2016 13:07

My face feels really soft now. I just did the bottom half in case of a reaction but it was fine.

CointreauVersial · 02/12/2016 13:11

I'm a bit nervous of the acid mask - isn't it a bit harsh? Anyway, if it takes 10-15 minutes there's no way I'll be doing it midweek, so I'll try it over the weekend.

Mrmcgregorsrake · 02/12/2016 13:17

I'm a day in front opened 3 today of my m&s one . My excuse I'll be too busy xmas day to open last one .

ThisNight · 02/12/2016 15:24

I did the acid mask this morning - my skin felt a little dry and tight after, but fine now and really soft.

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 02/12/2016 16:01

I took the plunge and did the acid peel. All good! Skin feels great.

FourEyesGood · 02/12/2016 17:00

I was too scared to try the acid peel (my skin goes blotchy and red just at the thought of it) so I gave it to my favourite colleague, who was very pleased with it.
