Your best comfy skinny jeans please?

Hello. This thread is a little old now and some of the recommendations may be out of date. Whatever style you’re looking for, take a gander at our round-up of Mumsnetters’ favourite jeans for more recent suggestions. MNHQ.

White Stuff Jade jeggings are the best for me.

WhooooAmI24601 · 20/10/2016 11:31

Next have some called 360 skinnies which I love. They're proper thick winter denim rather than thinner leggings and keep their shape beautifully.

I also love Diesel Skinzee, but at £130 a pair I prefer the Next price!

EddieHitler · 20/10/2016 12:19

Peacocks mid-rise skinny jeans are great, very stretchy, keep their shape, look really nice and they're only about £15.

LegArmpits · 20/10/2016 12:25

Asda Wonderfit are like some sort of miracle. All different colours including proper denim now. They ping back brilliantly every time.

9oclockinthemorning · 20/10/2016 12:44

I like the Next Jeggings, I've had some a few weeks another have kept their shape and wash well. So comfy too. About to buy another pair in a different colour.

What's the link to the M&S ones?

OyWithThePoodles · 20/10/2016 13:59

Current favourites:

Gap 1969 true skinny highrise
Levis demi-curve skinny

Asda Wonderfit was recommended on Mumsnet the other day ....

vghifcqueen · 20/10/2016 14:04

I love H&M jeggings which are £12.99 and I buy them in every colour, never go baggy. I also like New Look super skinnies which have a mid rise waist and the DP Eden jeggings. Abercrombie skinnies are also great but ££££

ChorusLine69 · 20/10/2016 14:14

I've just bought some uniqlo high waisted skinny jeans - so bloody comfy I'm living in them and hide the muffin top!

piddleypower · 20/10/2016 16:11

Next super soft pro modal jeans - fabulous. Super stretchy and really soft. So comfortable.

My go to jean was Oasis cherry - until they meddled with it. Apparently their denim sales dropped off a cliff last year due to this, so they said they have changed them back, but they are not the same.

ElspethFlashman · 20/10/2016 16:15

I think I'm the only one who didn't rate the DP Edens. Found the material to be way too thin and cheap, and they were so stretchy that every time I bent down I had to hoick them up again.

vghifcqueen · 20/10/2016 17:33

Elspeth, I have found the Eden's brilliant but I buy them very snug and they hold their shape brilliantly. My fave ones are 3 years old and just starting to rip slightly in the leg but I can't bring myself to let go of tgem

Picoloangel · 20/10/2016 19:59

New Look skinnies are great though the sizing is a tad unpredictable. Look way more expensive than they are and last pretty well too.

working9to5WAWTMAL · 20/10/2016 20:04

My topshop Leigh jeans were great at first but have lost their shape really quickly. They just sag around my knees now. Best ones I have are from new look.

helenlove · 20/10/2016 20:54

Topshop Leigh are so comfy I could wear them forever.

fudgefeet · 20/10/2016 20:59

I've worn topshop Leigh for years but recently discovered Zara stretch high rise jeans which are perfect. They keep everything tucked in.

Paris1986 · 20/10/2016 21:04

Are any of the ones mentioned really long? I'm 6ft and always struggle with trousers! Got some black leggings from New Look which are great (tall section) but jeggings/treggings that don't stop halfway up my calf seem pretty hard to come by Grin!

IsletsOfLangerhans · 20/10/2016 21:05

Last couple of pairs I bought from topshop have gone saggy very quickly - used to last ages! I managed to get a pair of J brand Maria skinny jeans in TK Maxx yesterday - very comfy and a great fit

Conflictedoncemore · 20/10/2016 21:08

French Connection skinny's are amazing!

frikadela01 · 20/10/2016 21:09

Asda wonderfit.... Best jeans I've ever worn, only £20 too.

colouringinagain · 20/10/2016 21:12

Anyone rate the M&S Super Skinny Jeggings? I want to avoid the bumpy bit with the button front!

Here

NicknameUsed · 20/10/2016 21:23

DD has two pairs of Topshop Leigh jeans and says that they are the best jeans she has ever had.

Paris1986 she has very long legs and wears the 34" leg length ones.

RiverTam · 20/10/2016 21:27

None of these are what I would actually call jeans, though, the material is too thin and certainly doesn't keep me warm in winter.

I actually think since Topshop stopped doing their Kristen ones, it's not possible to buy proper skinny jeans. Either they are jeggings or they're jeans but not really skinny.

The closest I've got recently are some Fat Face ones which are skinny and not too jeggingish though they certainly aren't proper denim.

NicknameUsed · 20/10/2016 21:33

The Topshop Leigh jeans are jeans and they are skinny. DD has very slim legs and the jeans fit like a glove.

MeadowHay · 20/10/2016 21:37

Dorothy Perkins!

50ShadesOfEarlGrey · 21/10/2016 00:48

Gap for me, they never wear out, they have numerous styles, including skinny and super skinny, different rises, range of colours and the most important for me is different leg lengths. The tall is very long - daughter 5'9 bought pair and they were hanging off the ends of her feet.
Really comfy, I wear them nearly ever day.
You can only get this selection on line, free delivery if spend £50, you also get priority sales info etc.
