Can you help me choose a wedding dress? (pictures)

I'm not a big white dress kind of person but if you hate them both feel free to say!

Both exactly the same shape, just different colours and design at the top. I cannot for the life of me choose. Number one is pale pink. Number two is off white.

The Cardigan could go. I'll hang on to it because it's not too expensive but I'll keep and eye out for something more suited.

I say pink.

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 12:40

In a totally shocking turn of events Dd1 actually preferred the white!

The Cardigan would be an on and off type thing. I wouldn't wear it all day but I'm in Scotland so heading out without a cardi is a risky business even in your wedding day.

The cardi is terrible

Rethink the cardi

BusterGonad · 18/10/2016 12:42

What about a little cardy or shrug with a fake fur trim, I'm thinking Kate Middleton on her wedding day at the evening do!

notangelinajolie · 18/10/2016 12:42

I like the pink one. The cardigan is lovely too but I'm not sure you should be wearing a cardy to get married in.

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 12:42

All the cardi hate SadWink

You're all lucky it's not a waterproof jacket Grin

Another vote for the white!

TeenyfTroon · 18/10/2016 12:51

I prefer the embroidery on the pink. I like the cardi but agree a shrug would look better.

DeputyPecksBentBeak · 18/10/2016 12:57

I like both, but I definitely prefer the pink. You'll look lovely in either

BummyMummy77 · 18/10/2016 12:58

Love the white one! Smile

HeyMacWey · 18/10/2016 12:59

Definitely the white one - agree that the cardy sadly needs a rethink.

TyrionLannistersShadow · 18/10/2016 13:03

I definitely prefer the pink, it's gorgeous.!

Pantsalive · 18/10/2016 13:04

I like the pink one. I'm afraid I agree about the cardigan. Perhaps you could find a little fluffy ballet wrap one that would go with the style of the dress.

Failing that, I like the idea of a denim jacket!

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 13:06

A denim jacket had actually been considered.

You can't see in the picture but it's actually a wrap around Cardigan, when it's done up it totally covers the bodice area and stops at the very top of the skirt. In hindsight I probably should have taken it off before I took the photos!

Pink.

whattheseithakasmean · 18/10/2016 13:08

I prefer the white - and I like the cardy! I think you look lovely in both of them, but I prefer the simplicity of the white & I think it looks nicer with the cardy.

angstybaby · 18/10/2016 13:14

white - more elegant and grown up

rainbowstardrops · 18/10/2016 13:15

I prefer the pink Smile

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 13:16

Haha angsty...two things I am definetly not Grin might be nice to look it for once though.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 18/10/2016 13:28

Well I would've said the pink dress until you mentioned daffodils, in whch case the white dress will be better.
I take your point about wanting an extra layer in the Scottish climate.
What you want is a nice sensible thermal vest and longjohns Wink.

user1471950254 · 18/10/2016 13:32

Number 2 is more bridal Smile

McWeedie · 18/10/2016 13:34

Pink definitely but the cardi looks wrong, maybe a bit too bulky and shapeless. What about a close fitting shrug?

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 13:38

I'm not really 100% sure what a shrug is Grin does anyone have any links?

Google is just giving me lace and fur things which wouldn't be right.

The white is nicer from looking at the ship pictures. What time of year is wedding? Is mich outside? Will you really need a Cardie? I think it really detracts from the prettiness and youthfulness of the dresses.
