How much do you weigh?

Sorry I know these are done a lot but I searched and couldn't find any for this height and size.

I'm doing SW and currently a size 12, my goal size is a 10 and target weight set as 9 and a half stone currently. I wondered whether this was an accurate weight to aim for.

OP posts:

5' 4" 9 1/2 stone size 12, and have been that weight for at least three years hello smears which the nurse seemed quite surprised about. The difference I have found is that I am 41, and my shape is slowly changing. My waist is definitely getting slowly bigger (I am an hourglass). So it is about distribution more than anything for me.

After having had fast metabolism all my life, that is also slowing down sob

5 ft 2.5 (0.5 very important obvs!), size 8 top and size 6-8 (6 if vanity sized) on bottom, and just under 8 and a half stone.

Hi OP, I'm 5'3 and 10st3lb having lost 12lb so far (9weeks) on WW. My goal weight is 9st.
My current weight loss alone has got me from a large size14-small 16 to a comfortable 12. I've got a suitcase of size 10 pre pregnancy stuff in the loft which I'm aiming to get back in. When I last wore them I was 9st.5lb (I only know from my maternity notes) but probably bordering on a size 12 really. I'm hoping 9st would be a comfortable 10.

I'm five two and right now weigh about 8 stone 12. Prefer to be 8 and a half. Still a size ten, comfortably. More like an eight in older lady shops. Big frame (size seven (!) feet) but reasonably lean.

dottyaboutstripes · 04/10/2016 12:38

I'm 5' 2 and pretty much all my clothes are size 10. I weigh between 9st 3 and 9st 7 usually. I look bigger though I think?

5ft and weigh 8st 7lb ... I wear size 8-10.

hollieberrie · 04/10/2016 14:16

I'm also 5ft1 & weigh 8st7, am 10 on the bottom and 8 on the top (small boobs). I prefer it when I'm 8 stone or just over as then I can fit comfortably into size 8 trousers too, but I find it difficult to maintain that lower weight. I like biscuits too much

youlittlecharmer · 04/10/2016 14:19

5'3 and currently 10st 3 and feeling a bit dumpy. Most clothes are a 10, some 8s. Reading this makes me think I have a lot more muscle though as I can't believe how light some of you are and not fitting in 10s!

happydays00 · 04/10/2016 14:27

Your weight does not determine your dress size, this is completely dependent on body shape and frame size.

I am 5ft2 and am at my happiest between 9 - 9.5 stone. I comfortably fit in a 6-8 top and 8-10 trouser. At 8 stone I look ill, anything over 10 stone gets me back in a size 12. Don't set your goal based on weight, do it based on body measurements and dress size!

NantucketNightbird · 04/10/2016 14:36

When I weighed 13.7st I was still only a size 14 so it's definitely more to do with body shape

herethereandeverywhere · 04/10/2016 14:41

I'm 5'3". was size 12 at 9 and a half stone.

Currently just under 9 stone (8st11 I think). I look better at this weight, pear shape not so obvious, face more chiselled. Setting aside that sizes are different everywhere you shop, I'm more a true 10 now, perhaps an eight in jackets/things without skinny arm holes! and 10-12 in trousers (again depending on straight leg or thigh accommodating.)

onwego · 04/10/2016 17:02

I'm 5"1.5, weigh 9st12 and am a size 12. I've lost a stone and a half so far and was aiming for 9st 7, not too sure now, I think I might try for 8st12. It's really interesting that similar height/weight does not translate to the same dress size.
