I'm after a proper old fashioned denim mini (not too mini though!) skirt, straight not A-line and no buttons. I realise that this is far from being 'in' but I like them.

I also want some really lovely big scarves - ideally a burnt orange one, a bright pink one and a red one.

Also, a pleated red skirt and the perfect grey v neck jumper.

You?

I'm after a black silk shirt too, Ten. I've seen a few but none of them are quite right.

QueenoftheAndals · 21/08/2016 10:48

Mumbo, TK Maxx online has loads of ankle boots atm.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/08/2016 11:45

Carrot Thanks - I hadn't thought of Levis, but it's a v good suggestion.

Shame about the burgundy jumper, Tenpastlate. I'll keep looking!

I got rid of my black silk shirt because it was so old, and it creased so badly. Would love another one. I've also been looking for the perfect grey silk shirt for about 15 years now!

I like the look of this skirt but dislike the colours. Would be great in burgundy!

Just realised I mis-read the price of the Phase Eight skirt too - I read it as £89 yesterday, and it's actually £59. Still not cheap, but not quite as eye watering!

Remus I saw this suede skirt in burgundy but not convinced by the shape and pocket poof.

Whilst trawling for black silk shirts I found two I like from Jigsaw which aren't black but I do quite like the prints for wearing with skinnies. I'd want them to be reduced though. £129 seems far more than I'd like to pay for them.

Cait thanks so much for the link, I really like that. I don't want it too slouchy though, nes it a case of sizing down or us it less slouchy in real life?

Ohchristmastreeohchristmastree · 21/08/2016 14:29

Me too for slouchy v necks (with a deep v) - the ones you see endlessly on Pinterest, but never IRL! It would also be good if these were cashmere, but fear that is asking too much!
Suede ankle boots.
Some replacement skinnies and I'm good to go!

Tenpastlate · 21/08/2016 14:36

winefairy nice shirts! Can't afford£100+ though unfortunately Confused

EnidButton · 21/08/2016 14:48

I like this tartan skirt. £98 though. 😕 www.jigsaw-online.com/product/check-wrap-mini-skirt/J31522_BK000

BristolLFR · 21/08/2016 15:08

Ooh those shirts are lovely winefairy. Agree that they'd have to go in the sale first though

taybert · 21/08/2016 15:20

I want a slouchy jumper but not a roll/polo/turtle neck. this is a good price in some colours but I'm not convinced it's slouch enough.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/08/2016 15:26

Love that Jigsaw skirt. Their stuff is so expensive though.

Agree that the burgundy suede skirt has too much poof/pocketedness - no good for expanding waistlines!

Speaking of expensive skirts, I like this too.

Right, want a wintry version of the trousers I got in the Whistles sale: narrow leg, ankle length, bit slouchy. I'm hoping they put out a dark grey version in time for the Grazia offer.

Then some boots so my ankles don't freeze. I'm not sure how it'll work but I'm going to find a way. I really don't want to drift back to skinnies.

And then a coat for walking to work in the rain which, let's face it, will be pretty much every day December-February: knee length, bit of shape, reasonably warm and dry. And a hood cos umbrellas are shite. I swore I'd get this one cracked in the autumn and spend as much as I could afford.... I'm now trying to row back on that but following the coat thread.

I'll go and catch up on everyone's links now.

FlamingoFling · 21/08/2016 16:06

I have that first jigsaw silk shirt - it's a really nice fit.

witsender · 21/08/2016 17:03

H&M had a nice grey v neck cashmere slouchy jumper for 80, very deep v and not sure how good the cashmere will be for that price. Ordered wjtb 25% off to see though.

They also had a very slouchy dusky pink one too, but am not a pink gal.

BestIsWest · 21/08/2016 17:17

I would also like some patent Mary Janes, low heeled but not frumpy. Impossible? Black or burgundy.

EnidButton · 21/08/2016 17:36

Yes I don't think I can justify £100 on a skirt although it is really nice. A dress I would, and do, but not a skirt for some reason.

I like the Boden skirt but wish they had a pic of it on a model. Not sure if it looks a bit sticky outty. I had a wool skirt from Hush that stuck out. It looked like a lampshade from the front.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/08/2016 17:53

There is a pic of it on a model Here

Celt and Co slouchy jumper , they have it in Grey .. They also have it in round neck..

Floisme · 21/08/2016 18:25

One of my worst ever Boden buys was a mini skirt. To be fair, it must have been a long time ago as I've not worn minis in years but the cut was all wrong for me and it just didn't hang properly.

But if no-one's linked their relaxed V neck yet, it's spot on for slouchyness although last time I looked, they only had it in £££ cashmere.

Nearlyadoctor · 21/08/2016 18:48

Laska I bought that jumper last year and it is fabulous - lovely slouchy fit without looking like you bought too big a size. I wash it in the machine on hand wash cycle no worries at all.

EnidButton · 21/08/2016 19:37

Thanks Remus. It does look a bit sticky out but also about one inch too long for my legs. I like them a bit shorter with opaques. Fabric looks good though.

EnidButton · 21/08/2016 19:38

Just seen these. Can't think where they got their inspiration from. Grin This style ankle boot seems to be everywhere but I'm not convinced. Anyone tried that shaped boot on?
