I'm after a proper old fashioned denim mini (not too mini though!) skirt, straight not A-line and no buttons. I realise that this is far from being 'in' but I like them.

I also want some really lovely big scarves - ideally a burnt orange one, a bright pink one and a red one.

Also, a pleated red skirt and the perfect grey v neck jumper.

You?

A nice grey woollen skirt that maybe rouches but looks nice with tights & boots.

A new updated Parker - last one lasted 11 years- time for a change!

A couple of warm dresses, maybe with asymmetrical detail...

Some tan calf length boots.

Itscurtainsforyou · 20/08/2016 21:34

I have bought footwear.

Tan knee boots in the ted & Muffy sale and patent burgundy Mary Janes from new look - figured I could wear brown/navy/charcoal clothes with either of them Smile

Itscurtainsforyou · 20/08/2016 21:34

Oh and a tan leather tote that I've been meaning to buy all summer

DinosaursRoar · 20/08/2016 21:36

I'm after a wool coat (not 100% polyester), that's midi length and doesn't cost a fortune - I've got 2 that sit just above my knee and look great with jeans or short skirts, but I've a few wintery dresses that sit just on my knee or just below and look silly with a couple of inches flapping about at the bottom.

Also after black or dark grey leather ankle boots. (seen some I like and need to go try on)

Gillybobs - I do have a love of navy boatneck tops, really would love a jumper in that style too.

However, as I have no money, these things will have to be staggered, or not bought at all... (Still annoyed at myself for not buying the long wool navy coat in Oasis last year, then it wasn't in my size in the sale).

Gillybobs · 20/08/2016 21:55

Nigella oh yes that's definitely worth a try! Got me a 20% off code too so not bad price wise (a4b8 if anyone needs a Boden code) . Dinosaur I will shout if I find one!

FlamingoFling · 20/08/2016 21:55

Remus is your parker warm? As in its august and I'd be happy with the heating on warm

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/08/2016 22:06

It's toasty warm. You can also take the lining out and fur hoody bit off and wear it just as a cotton parka for Autumn.

Remus that looks fab, maybe I should wait for the sale?

Judydreamsofhorses · 20/08/2016 22:15

I have the Topshop parka Cara Delavigne advertised from two years ago which is perfect in terms of length, warmth and fit, but not waterproof.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/08/2016 22:17

Definitely wait for the sale. I paid much less than that for mine.

Clothing to disguise a size 14 body as a size 10 body.
Nice clothing.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/08/2016 22:32

Thanks, Mc. Too A line though (and HOW much???!!!). I want an old fashioned one with a zip and side/back pockets, like jeans.

Mc314 · 20/08/2016 22:48

Ah right. Yes phase 8 one very expensive

RalphSteadmansEye · 20/08/2016 22:57

Remus et al - I've tried on the M and S burgundy v neck sweater - it's nice but it's NOT oversized. I'm probably an 8 in Next, a 10 in Marks ordinarily in knitwear: I tried this sweater on in a 12 and it fitted without being loose/oversized. I am contemplating going back and buying a 14.

I've seen this green leather biker in Next and really, really want it:

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/08/2016 23:09

Thanks, Ralph.

Nice jacket!

BlueEyedWonder · 20/08/2016 23:12

A good quality camel colour big scarf.
Tan knee high boots.
A blue denim A line knee length skirt.
Pleated midi skirt
Khaki peg leg style trousers.

EnidButton · 21/08/2016 01:21

Leather jacket
Short skirts to wear with opaques
Dresses to wear with opaques
Black leather bag that isn't too structured but not too 'soft' either.

Lots of options for the jacket but very few skirts and dresses that are good for casual or smart casual wear. They're all too officey or going out out.

HerRoyalNotness · 21/08/2016 01:35

Id like to live somewhere with a proper winter again so I can partake in the cosy clothes buying.

I'd like a
leather jacket,
something leopard print
A capsule maternity wardrobe

feltcarrot · 21/08/2016 07:21

Remus - have you looked at Levis skirts, I bought one on holiday in the US last year, straight, zip fly, pockets and sits above the knee.

PinkGeranium · 21/08/2016 08:26

I got these in the sale in black www.russellandbromley.co.uk/ankle-boots/fab-dry/invt/372573
Need some new jeans to wear with them, don't think any but skinny will look good with these.

Tenpastlate · 21/08/2016 09:31

Remus and Titania , I ordered the red and grey M&S jumpers and was really disappointed. The bottom rib stops the jumper being properly slouchy, and the fit sround the top was pretty unflattering, so back they went.

I am after a dark navy peacoat which has a bit of an edge, and some black leather chunky soled biker boots which look good with jeans or a dress.
Cheetah print mid heeled shoes with a strap.
And a black silk shirt.

CaitAgusMadra · 21/08/2016 09:55

SimplyNigella

Is this striped top any good for you? I got it recently and love it. Sleeves are a great length (I have long ape like arms) and it's a nice thick cotton material

TitaniasTits · 21/08/2016 09:59

Ah thanks, tenpastlate. I must admit I was sceptical that M&S would come up with the goods.

The search continues!

MumboNumber5 · 21/08/2016 10:04

leather, simple ankle boots (ideally grey)
leather slouchy bag (ideally navy)

Other than that will grab a load of boden skinnies and some uniqlo merino and be on my way.
