I'm after a proper old fashioned denim mini (not too mini though!) skirt, straight not A-line and no buttons. I realise that this is far from being 'in' but I like them.

I also want some really lovely big scarves - ideally a burnt orange one, a bright pink one and a red one.

Also, a pleated red skirt and the perfect grey v neck jumper.

You?

Floisme don't forget there's 20% off M&S at the moment . Sept16A16
Like both the jackets especially the burgundy biker.

Floisme · 16/09/2016 18:36

Thanks very much doctor Wine

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/09/2016 18:39

Good to see this thread is still going. I thought it had died in the heatwave.

I've decided I want a cable knit jumper in a nice colour, if I can find one that isn't too chunky. Still looking for a couple more lightweight scarves too.

I'm finding the hot weather quite tiresome although I'd only dare say so on here. I've moved on.

BestIsWest · 16/09/2016 19:32

Saw the H&M trousers in store today and sadly they are too short for me at 5'10 even if I do have short legs. Too cold for ankle grazers in the winter imo as I've got a long commute.

BestIsWest · 16/09/2016 19:35

Like the Burgundy biker Flo. I had a faux leather burgundy one from M&S last year and it was really nice quality and a lovely colour. So versatile.

taybert · 16/09/2016 19:42

littleredpear I'm a petite 10 and I got medium thinking it'd be slouchy. It isn't thought it's not exactly fitted either.

Rollerbird · 16/09/2016 20:00

I got the clarks brogues..
Went out of my comfort zone- not had brogues before, only loafers and think i might feel like a school girl! They are really comfy and like Floisme said- i dont want cold ankles- i have a 15 min walk from where i park to the office in winter cold, wind, and rain! (also bought navy slacks!)

Nearlyadoctor · 16/09/2016 20:02

Hush Tina dress arrived today, very soft knit and flattering. Also bought long star necklace to wear with it.

The star is a bit bigger than it looks on the web.

Rollerbird · 16/09/2016 20:06

doctor i LOVE that dress!!!
I cant afford it unfortunately (boo)

Nearlyadoctor · 16/09/2016 21:07

Tell me about it Roller I told myself it would come and I wouldn't like it so would return, so therefore stop wanting it end of! Should have known better!

CaitAgusMadra · 17/09/2016 10:28

Flo love the burgundy leather jacket. I mentioned a similar one in Oasis at the start of this thread but am still dithering... I still haven't managed to see it in RL (not stocked in our local shop)

Would love some feedback about the M&S one eg fit, plastickyness of the leather

Floisme · 17/09/2016 11:08

I'm thinking of sending for it Cait so I'll post again if I do. (Mind you I said that once before then forgot and left it in the basket and they sold out.) The M&S ones normally get a good write up on here.

I'll only keep it if I love it because I've already got one leather jacket plus a vintage leather coat that I can't wait to wear.

Rollerbird · 17/09/2016 11:44

What would you put with this dress if it was nippy?
Long cardigan? Shearling gilet?
Just thinking autumn into winter

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/09/2016 14:38

I'd really like a burgundy biker, but would want leather rather than faux. Never seen a faux one I like the feel of.

Guess what I just found in a charity shop? A Vivienne Westwood top for a fiver. It wasn't on the list of things I'm looking out for, but it would have been rude not to snap it up! Grin

You jammy bastard. Grin

Details please.

Purple. Typical VW shape. Can't find a pic online, but will keep trying. It's a bit too big, but I plan to wear it as a slouchy loose top with skinnies, and will maybe get away with layering it over along sleeved black top too.

It sounds fab. I've had a crush on Vivienne Westwood ever since she had the shop on Kings Rd so I'm very Envy but also very pleased for you. It couldn't have gone to a better home.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/09/2016 15:06

Thanks! I love her. Have a few pieces already, including another purple top (a bit too tight at the moment though!) - can only afford in the sales.

Nearlyadoctor · 17/09/2016 15:54

Sounds fab Remus, most of our charity shops sell Primark at Hobbs prices!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/09/2016 15:57

Doctor - Ours are usually that but today seemed a really good day. I saw a Burberry coat, a load of Jigsaw stuff (including a gorgeous pencil skirt which I really liked but rejected because I have so many pencil skirts already) and quite a lot of (not v nice though) Boden stuff.
