Mine are:
Comfort while regaining mobility after an injury.
Being away on holiday in a town where nobody knows me.

I hate them. Ugly, expensive, uncomfortable.
Can't see anything good about them.

MargotLovedTom · 11/07/2016 10:24

In the house as slippers in the winter, with thick socks.
In the garden.
Walking the dog under cover of darkness.

They're just so comfy.

LunaLoveg00d · 11/07/2016 10:24

I love my Crocs. Comfiest things ever.

pottymummy · 11/07/2016 10:44

I have two pairs of crocs. Jayna (like slingback ballets) Comfy but sweaty. Not terribly sexy.
I also have the 'sexi' flips. Embarrasingly named. Fooking wonderful for holidays. Comfiest flip flops ever and look great. They also do not flop around because of the ankle straps.

Stokey · 11/07/2016 10:50

No unless you're under 10.

puglife15 · 11/07/2016 10:56

Plantar Fasciitis

idontlikealdi · 11/07/2016 10:58

I love my croc sandals. I don't need an excuseGrin

GuinevereBeck · 11/07/2016 11:05

I am currently living in my black Crocs Rio flats this summer. Normally ballet flats make my feet cramp, but these are the comfiest things ever, can wear them all day with no problems at all. Occasionally they can get a bit sweaty, but it's worth it! I've had a lot of compliments on them too, the best thing is people's faces when I say they're Crocs Grin.

On the other hand, there's never any excuse for the clog ones...

Thisismyalias · 11/07/2016 11:15

The nurses who are looking after my dad whilst he is in the icu, many of them wear crocs.

I rock a blue pair at home. In the words of Deadpool "ooh, so comfy" Grin

AuntieStella · 11/07/2016 11:18

I've seen them worn a lot by hospital staff. I have a pair that live by the back door for nipping out into the garden. I also wear them on the beach and into the sea (I am always nervous of stepping on Things That Might Bite Me).

Namechangenurseryconcerns · 11/07/2016 11:25

I wear them in the garden, when camping and to remote beaches Grin.

MrsJoeyMaynard · 11/07/2016 11:26

They're good for the beach

Vixxfacee · 11/07/2016 11:26

No excuse. Even on children Grin

Mummyme87 · 11/07/2016 11:28

Work...work on a labour ward. Easy to clean, light as a feather and comfortable when you are on your feet for 13hours.

NickiFury · 11/07/2016 11:30

Yes. These silver glittery ones. I got them in America with a black glittery pair in a buy a pair get a pair free deal. I was so Grin. I wish I had bought more than one pair.

Crocs: is there ever an excuse?
Roomba · 11/07/2016 11:31

Yes they are ugly and indefensible from a fashion POV.

But they are the only things I can wear without suffering from crippling back, hip and pelvis pain by the end of the day. So that overrides any fashion condemnation as far as I'm concerned.

My kids have them but only wear them on the beach/next to the pool. They'd never wear them all day as they're fugly.

exexpat · 11/07/2016 11:33

I was very glad I had a pair when I broke my big toe. Nothing else would have worked, and I wasn't exactly in a position to go shoe-shopping at the time...

They are also good on beaches, at festivals/camping (particularly if you need to pop to the loo from the tent) and for the back garden. But not for wearing around town for anyone past primary school age, obviously.

Beautifullymixed · 11/07/2016 16:33

In the house only.
I refuse to even open the door wearing them Blush

But, the bliss when I come home and put them on. They are the best slippers ever.
Quick wash in the machine, as good as new.
They also healed my plantar fasciatic beautifully.

Beautifullymixed · 11/07/2016 16:35

Plantar fasciitis obviously.......

TheFlyingFauxPas · 11/07/2016 16:40

I wear them to drive ddog to fields then change into wellies for walking. then I rock the unforgiveable look of wearing them with socks for shopping etc as I can't be arsed to wear anything that takes more effort

ShatnersBassoon · 11/07/2016 16:42

On the beach, by the pool, weddings, funerals, in the garden, washing the car...

Shantotto · 11/07/2016 16:44

Any tips on good styles to help with PF? In looking for sow thing to wear indoors. I can't wear anything too flip floppy, I need some thing I can attach securely to my feet.

Any suggestions?

Freshprincess · 11/07/2016 16:44

In the garden and putting the bins out.

If only they weren't so ugly.
