I've thrown my Converse in the bin. What white trainers??

So I'm currently in London on a mini break and have spent 2 days with my feet killing. Bloody Converse are so so uncomfy on me, they pinch my toes despite buying a half size larger. I've put gel insoles in but to no avail.

Supergra, I've just bought some. I love my Converse but they're too thin and flat to wear for a big day out.

I also love Skechers, they're so comfy.

How has nobody said 'golden goose' yet. DMBL40 loves them. Lots of clones at our school. I think they look like you stole them off a homeless person and then gave him £400

DH, then DP bought me some for work, nearly killed me the first time I wore them but after that were the comfiest shoes ever - 12 hour standing shift, no problem.

I've been a Converse devotee for years but needed something cheap for work and didn't want to spend £30-40. I was lucky enough to find a pair of Supergas in TKMaxx for £20 and I'm really pleased with them so far. Also love my Stan Smiths but I've got small enough feet to fit into kids ones so they're not too big and clumpy.

I have a few pairs of Superga, but ultimately for summer Rivieras are the comfiest by far and still cool. I also go to Golden goose for more of a trainer look.

Not all golden goose are scruffy, thank god!

I have nike md runner 2's, no idea if they're remotely the kind of thing you like but it sounds like I dress pretty similar to you (skinny jeans, stripe top and leather jacket is my go to with these!) and they are honestly the comfiest thing ever, like walking on clouds! Also pretty cheap compared to the fancier nikes

I like Onitsuka Tigers Mexico 66, had a pair in light grey that looks a bit better with skinnies than white does. Very comfy although I wear gel inserts because of my bizarrely small heels.

I like Superga too (again, in grey!) but they don't like me. Had to give up wearing them and am now in Skechers go walk (navy), like walking on a cloud.

I LOVE Onitsuka Tigers Mexico 66! DH wants them in black/yellow.

Golden Goose here, Farfetch were offering a 10% discount to new customers so I went for it. Mine are white and gold, not too distressed so don't look like I've mugged a tramp . They're good if you've got big feet cause the tiny wedge inside tilts your feet just enough to stop the canoe effect.

I find converse have no support at all.

I confess to wearing crocs that don't look like crocs.

With ankle length or cropped trousers , t shirt / sweater and a short coat / long jacket .

Adidas Stan Smiths fan here. Not in the green trim though - I have them with black bits. Brilliant for summer and I'm older than you! I don't give a shit though and would wear Hello Kitty trainers if I really liked them! #noshame #possiblynodignity

Adidas gazelles look great in white. Not as clunky as Stans.

SUpergas here too - wear with insoles to make these extra comfortable ;)

Another reason why I love my supergas is that these come in half sizes - 6 is a bit too big and 5 too small, making these a better fit.

Noticed you're in London, there's a shop near Covent Garden selling these in all colours....
