5 day capsule wardrobe for Italian city break - please help!

I am being whisked away for a birthday trip with my husband in early June. I will have no kids and am unbelievably excited but also incredibly unprepared and short on time. I have 2 pre-school children, work full time, live in a cold part of the U.K. and haven't been abroad in over a decade, so nothing I own fits the bill I am reasonably tall and a size 8-10 but have absolutely no boobs/bum and can't pull of proper trendy Where do I start? All help appreciated. Grazie

Wide legged linen trousers, a few vest style tops and a scarf to cover from the sun and if you're visiting churches etc, as shoulder must be covered.

A wide brimmed hat and the comfiest, flattest sandals you own...the cobbles are brutal! I went in late June and it was very hot, but the most beautiful city I've ever been to, with a 'wow' moment around every corner. Definitely a cross body bag and keep your eye on it at all times. Have an amazing trip!

Yes Boden fun prints are awful
But the quality of their cotton and jersey plain/striped stuff is great
I love dresses - no thinking required

My sketchers just arrived - wow! So comfy and actually not ugly (as I had feared!). Super soft fabric so just like wearing slippers

Wow! I have ordered lots of Boden dresses and Mango trousers. Ordered size 8 in Boden (my usual size) so am hoping I won't regret that. Now need to step away from the internet

Sniff! Boden stuff is like a tent on me Fits on top but hips and thighs are just shapeless. Am guessing a size 6 wouldn't fit either as likely be tight on top?

I always size down in Boden. Just find a free delivery and returns code. They are super quick so not much hassle

Fwiw, if you're not going until early June I very much doubt from my own experience that the weather forecasts are accurate yet.

I would get a black knee length jersey / tshirt type dress and wear it with a leopard or gold cross body bag and gold saltwater sandals or gold ballet flats or leopard ballet flats during the day. Take a statement necklace and heels for the evening.

Take a black blazer with you in case it gets cold. A pair of white cropped jeans and a black/white breton t shirt. Add a black vest that you can wear with the statement necklace in the evening or without in the day.

Done.
