I caved and bought the Boden ruched skirt, but the stripy one. I dont do black or dark bottoms of any description (I'm a tall, slightly inverted triangle shape - not flattering). I've got some nice navy tops I can dress it up for work with....just need to think of work-appropriate shoes? I'm not in a very smart environment, so shouldn't be too challenging.

Wish Boden wasn't so obsessed with 'ivory', though. White much nicer and fresher..

Niminy, I love that Anna blog! I can knit but it makes me want to sew, did it take long to learn? I love me a bit of Magdalen laundry chic but the dresses in Toast are all 200 quid, it'd be great to sew my own.

I'm with the penitential crew - just got this from Great Plains, 20% off. I don't usually find anything in Great Plains but this is really nice and a whole lot cheaper than Toast!

Orange skirt still too long and puffy even at half price. I left it behind.

Tried this on - absolutely bloody hideous on me. Even the ten could have fit 3 of me inside it.

I'm hoping they repeat that Boden Ruched Skirt in other colours. I fancy the navy but it's OOS. I do like the stripy but I already have a similar number from Sainsburys which does the job.

Lots of massively reduced tops and jackets in Mango Outlet this weekend, if anyone's interested......This stripy jumper, for example.

That Boden rushed skirt in stripy is much more white that ivory irl. Still waiting to wear mine though as does need bare legs and I am a wimp and corned beef legs not a good look
