Sayagreatbigthankyou I have just ordered some slim fit jeans from Jigsaw, tried them on in John Lewis but needed a different size. Really nice fit, comfy with some stretch- also do a choice of lengths.

SayAGreatBigThankyou · 05/06/2016 14:16

Will try there nearly - thanks. And thanks jack for killing my cool kid skater wannabe vibe.
Chambray dresses?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/06/2016 14:25

SayA

In theory I like chambray dresses. In reality I have never found one that didn't look like a crumpled sack on me. Have you seen any nice ones?

skippy67 · 05/06/2016 16:16

I ordered this in blue and grey yesterday. They've just arrived, and they're really nice. Quite think, but I think they'll be nice to wear on holiday with flats.

Also very impressed with h&m delivery! I had a code so got free standard delivery, so was very sureprised when they turned up today.

SayAGreatBigThankyou · 05/06/2016 20:58

Just bought that in navy skippy - thanks for the tip off!

PMSL at 'salvaging' the thread.

I want lovely, high heeled, metallic shoes. Pref sandals. Any ideas?

Dancergirl · 05/06/2016 22:55

I'm still after some sandals, can anyone help? Preferably with a nice spongy flatform sole but still pretty?

Dancergirl · 05/06/2016 23:01

What do you think of these:

CointreauVersial · 05/06/2016 23:23

Ohhh, JohnCheese, I really want a Whistles Lola dress, Envy but can't quite justify. Grin at your DH's preferences - mine is just the same - doesn't get Cos, thinks dresses should be short, low and tight - ugh.

The White Stuff dress is pretty, but I'd lose the belt.

BeJayKayven · 05/06/2016 23:40

Dancer I'm almost scare to post this in case Jack is still up 😉😀 but I got these and they are super comfy (Amazon Reiker)

Every year i fancy a denim shift. Me all cool and nonchalant. In reality I look like a prisoner in them.
If you're slim and lovely then the one I wept over myself in in marks is worth a look. Had pockets too

(Hides from Jack as has fungal toe and have been on the closed toe sandal thread- all hideous but really need some to hide said toe!)

Sister has given me light denim dress from fat face, would never have looked at myself as has kind of halter neck so hard for bra- does look quite good on though- anyone know where to get a good NOT PADDED strapless bra 34D??

taybert · 06/06/2016 09:12

I don't think that bra exists. The wonderbra strapless bras are the best I've had but they are a bit padded in a moulded t shirt bra way. Everything else just squashes.

It's sunny in France now and I've got a sunburned scalp. Are all sun hats terrible? I already have Cornish pasties on my feet, I'm worried about having an apple pie on my head. Hmm.

JackandDiane · 06/06/2016 09:20

the zara bomber was loveley but too cropped

Jack I'd never figured it out but yes, I look like a Prison Gang member in a denim dress.

Why am I not slim of thing?

Also, sandals are dainty, slim and pretty!!!

SayAGreatBigThankyou · 06/06/2016 16:36

Love the tommy hilfiger sandals dancer

JackandDiane · 06/06/2016 17:00

I'm still in tights, boots and skater dresses as that's the only thing that I look good in and u havnt got any summer clothes as I can't find anything I like!!!

Size 16,36gg, hourglass shape, but I hate showing tops of arms as I have a dodgy tatto which I am yet to get covered, and I also hate showing bare legs. My legs aren't a bad shape but they're always spotty or bruised.

Havnt got a clue what to buy! All I know is that skater style shape suits me, have been looking at skater midi skirts but that means I ll have to show my legs!

taybert · 06/06/2016 17:08

I can confirm having spent the day looking at hats that all headwear available in Southern France looks like a croissant.
Saw some nice Hilfiger wedges though which could work for a stupid no heel wedding I'm going to, except that I'm morally opposed to spending any money on that particular wedding due to its stupid shoe rules.

deutschland83 · 06/06/2016 18:26

Loving the moral stance on the show rule GrinGrin

If I'm not in heels you can fuck off with your stupid wedding Wine

deutschland83 · 06/06/2016 18:26

Show=shoe.

Bloody Apple.

JackandDiane · 06/06/2016 19:10

are you SURE about skater style? I dont like it on people who arent ethereal teens tbh
Why not a sexy straight dress?
