I did try some green combats on and quite liked btw. Can see them working rolled up on the ankles, with a black or white t-shirt and a denim jacket BUT what shoes?

I can't get excited about khaki

I thought you'd rejected the M&S one ages ago! Can't keep up.

Ta for shoe advice, but I'd only want to wear khaki trews in the daytime, for schlepping around, so heels definitely out.

It looks quite nice in the pic JandD... but I hate that Tencel shit Marks is so keen on - all thin and shiny and somehow a bit 'faux'. Are you liking it in real life or just the idea of it?

JackandD, did you not like the H & M khaki jacket? I kept it as it's ok and only paid £15. Better than Mint Velvet one, thin and shirt like and £120 I think.
