waggle I got a medium and it's perfect.

Wagglebees · 05/05/2016 23:12

Dancer Thanks Smile I wear the short one with opaques so think I'd like the longer one for Summer. Might get a Boden one to compare if there's any left.

teta · 06/05/2016 08:49

Do the Uniqlo jackets come up big or small?

TheVeryThing · 06/05/2016 10:04

taybert I have ordered that stripey dress from uniqlo too, hoping it will be good for holidays.
Inspired by this thread i have ordered the ruched skirt from hush in olive, hoping it will suit a pear-shaped (largeish) 12.
I bought the uniqlo jacket in navy last year and wore it loads, I was so pissed off to find some bleach marks on it and am going to try dying it but may have to re-purchase.
teta I bought a small but it is too tight to tie (I prefer to leave it open so that doesn't bother me); I have very narrow shoulders so the small fitted me better there.

Floisme · 06/05/2016 11:32

OOh tempted by that uniqlo jacket but I find their sizing really random and I'm not sure I can be arsed sending for two sizes. I think I may be falling out of love with online shopping Shock

Wearing my fab m&s Limited Collection wide leg crops today in dark denim, originally linked by niminy and much laughed at on earlier threads. (Sorry can't find a link or a pic any more) Actually my husband still laughs at them but I care not a fuck.

taybert · 06/05/2016 11:34

I think the sizing is pretty true to size on the jacket. I got an M when post baby and breastfeeding, will get S now I've lost weight and my boobs have done a vanishing act (I'm a 10). Yay, stripy dress is for my holidays too.

Floisme · 06/05/2016 11:51

Thanks taybert I may take a punt then.

TheVeryThing · 06/05/2016 12:41

I appear to have ordered three more items from mango and really need to stop now,
I have ordered this longsleeeved top, a tshirt in blue, and another in a sort of gold colour.
My justification is that autumn colours suit me best and I often struggle to find summer clothes.

JackandDiane · 06/05/2016 18:09

FUCK OFF WITH THE ONLINE SHOPPING ENNUI

OP posts:
Floisme · 06/05/2016 18:23

Who?
Me?
Grin
I'm not ennuid in the slightest. I'm pissed off:
With having to send off for 2 sizes every single time.
With colours never being the same as they look on screen.
Of trekking to post office .
Of drumming my fingers waiting to get my money back.

But most of all, of living in a city where the shops are an absolute pile of steaming poo.
That is all.

JackandDiane · 06/05/2016 18:33

you can stop any hint of THAT kind of trash talk

Uniqlo sizing is ODD though

OP posts:
JackandDiane · 06/05/2016 18:34

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/05/2016 18:37

Oy Jack - where are those there threads you were talking about?

Floisme · 06/05/2016 18:41

Soz. I just long sometimes for a proper, real-live, decent clothes shop where I can try before I buy.
But maybe that's for another thread.

JackandDiane · 06/05/2016 19:27

ANd the khaki jacket one elsewhere in s and b

I like real life shopping to Flo- the only online I do regularly is Boden! Speaking of which, 2 summers ago they had this fab dress- I loved it because the pleats start below the waist (which is a miracle actually as usually boden dresses are too high waisted for me, even in a long and I'm only 5'4! Has anyone seen similar anywhere?

taybert · 06/05/2016 19:34

I'm too rural to ditch the online. If I did that I'd be in wellies and a couple of feed containers. The good thing about living here is that couriers can't be arsed coming back so they always leave stuff at the pub. The downside is the pub secretly hate me because of my daily parcels.

Tanaqui · 06/05/2016 19:39

And I did mean too, not to- and that link was meant to be a pic. Arses!

SwedishEdith · 06/05/2016 19:59

Hits and misses from today's Uniqlo parcel

This in the red Probably going back as very voluminous but will try with a belt.

This in navy A lot better than the picture - good for work or holidays. Keep.

Got the olive Good with skinny jeans and less than £10. Keep.

Already mentioned stripy t-shirt Good quality = keep.

And these slightly weird waistband pants Great for work = keep.

And most of this stuff is cotton!

JackandDiane · 06/05/2016 20:07

love the sweatshirt

nickdrakeslovechild · 06/05/2016 20:55

TheVeryThing I bought that knot tshirt in the blue and black last week they are so lovely on. The blue is more greenish IRL.

JohnCheese · 06/05/2016 20:59

Oh hello.

LOVE the Uniqlo sweatshirt.

Am wearing navy Zara trews today. Started off fine, not bad at all. By lunchtime I looked like I was wearing clown pants. They grew about 2 sizes. Totally pissed off with them. These in navy. Don't buy them. Not the point of the thread but, y'know, it's advice....

JackandDiane · 06/05/2016 21:26

john - take them back
