Light day time sweet perfume recommendations?

I'm looking for a new perfume and don't know where to start.

I like quite sweet perfume, but wasn't something not too overpowering and headache inducing for casual day wear.

I've liked Mont Blanc Legend and Armani Si, Lacoste Touch of Pink, Flowerbomb .. But they're a bit too sweet for daytime casual.

If you like sweet perfumes then maybe you could try something with a little more fruit tones to bring a bit of freshness and make it more daytime? Something like the Aqua Allegorias maybe?

Whosthemummy16 · 07/04/2016 05:03

Lancôme la vie est belle or Chanel chance eau tendre?

Indecisivejo · 07/04/2016 07:39

Gucci rush is sweet but not overpowering. I also love wings by Georgio Beverly Hills it smells exactly same as Calvin Klein eternity

AuntieMaggie · 07/04/2016 07:40

clarins eau des Jardines worn most days. light and floral or Daisy perfumes by Marc Jacobs

HighHopes16 · 07/04/2016 10:01

I like Turquoise Summer by Escada.

AgathaMystery · 07/04/2016 10:07

Jo Malone does an orange-y one that is light & sweet.

millionsofpeaches · 07/04/2016 10:12

Noa by cacharel. It smells a little bit like elderflowers and Jasmine, but is quite light and inoffensive.

MsBojangles · 07/04/2016 11:56

Urura's Tokyo Cafe by 4160 Tuesdays is a gorgeous spring scent. Smells sweet and softly purple if that makes sense.

EdithWeston · 07/04/2016 12:03

The older Givenchy perfumes are light and sweet, but have good staying power.

Eau de Givenchy smells just like a flower shop (I think that's the one I mean, blue packaging and lid to the spray).

lemonade30 · 07/04/2016 12:09

Viva la juicy Le fleur by juicy couture is a nice sweet floralish day scent

Canyouforgiveher · 07/04/2016 12:11

Pleasures by estee lauder and L'eau d'issay are two I like

ajandjjmum · 07/04/2016 12:16

Illicit by Jimmy Choo?

TornNotTorn · 07/04/2016 12:21

Paul Smith Rose is beautiful for this time of year. I alternate between that and a bottle of Estée Lauder Bronze goddess, when the weather gets warmer, though I really should replace this year as I've just realised I've had the same bottle since before ds was born and he's just turned 4 Blush. The Paul smith is super cheap in superdrug atm.

I had a sneaky spray of the new J'Adore Lumiere when I was travelling through Duty Free more than a week ago. I can still smell it on my jacket and it's like a fruity, flowery, soapy smell.
It's different enough from the original (which I associate with being a new mum) to feel I'm moving forwards with my perfume history. I'll be investigating the price when my current perfume (Petite Robe Noire, not a keeper) runs out.

sweetheart · 07/04/2016 12:33

The original Ghost fragrance is quite sweet but also light enough for daytime.

vanillabeauty · 07/04/2016 12:53

Ghost sweetheart is sweet

sweetheart · 07/04/2016 14:10

yes I think so

YvaineStormhold · 07/04/2016 14:11

Kenzo Flower is lovely.

scotsgirl64 · 07/04/2016 14:15

Jo Malone has some gorgeous scents.....and you can mix and match them

Cakescakescakes · 07/04/2016 14:40

Nectarine blossom and honey by Jo Malone. It's my everyday one.

KatharinaRosalie · 07/04/2016 14:44

If you like perfumes more oriented to the young market then Escada summer ones might work. Usually sweet-fruity, very suitable for daytime.

ThisIsme2 · 07/04/2016 14:54

Not too keen on too fruity, but a little bit.

I've used Ghost before, find it bit too much.

I've got some samples of Jo Malone, something and anise, and something and honey ..

I've tried Kenzo Flower, it's nice, but not quite sweet enough.

I haven't tried Kenzo Sweetheart, I'll look into it.
