I teach secondary and a depressingly high number of girls even in Y8/9 - ie age 13/14 - have them now

^^^Those eyebrows, women with chunky upper arms in sleeveless tops, anything by Hotter, false eyelashes, coloured contact lenses, anything by Adidas, beige or stone, oatmeal wtf?, the Duchess of Cambridge eyeliner and those horrid ageing skirt suits she wears, Gucci loafers with snaffles for men, lilac anything, corsages, men in speedos (even worse if they have a shorts tan), raglan jumpers from the 90s, handbags with hardware, bouffant hair, anyone in long socks especially over the knee, plus twos, plus fours, adults in wellies that are patterned...

Did you know that Speedos are compulsory for men if they wish to swim in a public pool in France? Can't wear board shorts. DH refused!

Any tattoos, hideous! Will all be regretted in later life especially those ones all the way into the neck!

Ok, have to say I like block heeled shoes. Easier than walking in stilettos.

Those half mast trousers in chino style material that British women wear in summer. For some reason they are always beige and never ironed and worn by the lover of the equally vile Birkenstock.

Wearing anything with a hood with heels. Especially hoodies with boot it jeans and mum boots. Makes me irrationally angry.

Thenlater - agree but they don't pair them with birks they pair them with those fuck awful sport sandals. I would burn every pair

Agree with pp about pockets ruining a very nice top. So pointless and they look awful.

Speaking of Aintree, did anyone see the DM article about what the women were wearing?

I thought it was the meanest thing I've read in ages. I know we are listing pet hates and so on , but they were ridiculing the women there, some of whom weren't even posing for pics, just walking along. I just felt that some of those women probably felt pretty good about themselves til they saw that 😐

The DM is a vile little rag, but to be fair some of those women look wretched and it's entirely their own doing.

The DM article on Aintree is particularly cruel this year. Im sure there are just as many fashion faux pas at Ascot and Cheltenham but the DM has a particular fondness for ridiculing Northern women. 😕

Waxed jacket
Leggings with dresses though never, ever as trousers

Jeans with dresses. I will concede this might not look quite as good as I once thought.

And I've hankered after purple hair since I was 5 and will definitely try it one day.
