What look do you love? What look do you hate?

I LOVE to see people who look effortlessly stylish in layers and beautifully cut clothes. (I am not like that BTW, no matter how I try).

I HATE clumpy shoes, especially peep toe boots which I just can't ever see myself liking.

What are your fashion yays and nays?

I love clean lines and structured shapes
I dislike frills and pussy bows and too much quirky bits and pieces

I love classic style - also people of hispterish bent who can pull off quirky combinations.
Dislike the 'retro' fifties Vivienne of bloody Holloway look- seems very twee.

Love the effortless layers look too. I could never recreate it either - too small and curvy!!

Really dislike 80s fashion e.g stonewashed denim and leopard print which I seem to be seeing quite a bit of at the moment. Just doesn't appeal to me at all although some people do manage to carry it off!

I like the tweed country look - skinny jeans and boots and harris tweed style or joules jacket!

I am very unfashionable tho and I do live in the country so I see it a lot!

I don't like ugg boots or leggings with short tops. Where is your skirt?

I really dislike 80s styles. Don't really like seeing people dressed top to toe from a different era as it looks quite contrived, but like retro in moderation. Really appreciate seeing someone wearing something lovely despite it not being remotely fashionable. As a disclaimer I think people should wear whatever they like and I'm sure not many people would like my style!

I like trousers/ jeans and a blazer. Jersey, knitwear, Soft materials and neutral colours with the occasional bright accent.

I dislike the body-con stripper look and women who dress like 5 year old girls.

Love the Isabel Marant low key hippyish style, although I don't think it suits me.

Hate the TOWIE/Kardashian/ WAG look. overly made up, tight dress, false eyelashes, fake hair, boobs and bum, shoes you can't walk in. Yuk, just yuk.

Ooh, I love to see people looking chic as all hell in neutrals. You know the ones, who've combined black and camel and putty in simple, well-cut shapes, usually with a stunning but simple bag - they look like a million dollars without looking like they've tried.

I can't pull off that look at all - I'm too curvy and crumpled - but I wish I could.

I loathe the Boden look.

I also hate the TOWIE look. And body con dresses.

I like lots of different styles - sometimes it's just how people wear it. I do prefer an effortless look to one that looks like it took hours of preparation.

I really like fitted clothes with a tad of punk or rock chick.

I dislike anything too fussy like ruffles, bows, tassels, big patterns, bright colours and too much bling.

loathe and jeans and high heels aesthetic, too much Boden and Per Una makes me feel ill.

I really like the skinny jeans, slightly scruffy, andro look too. Preferably with a couple of tattoos ad piercings thrown in for good measure, and messy wavy, bed hair.
I try to achieve it but think i'm not really thin enough and also just too smiley and unconfident - it suits the slightly sullen, aloof, confident type i think.

I love the cool hippy look and layering too. Not a fan of the towie look or anything with too much bum, boobs, legs on show. I also have an irrational hatred of crocs and chokers.

I hate those horrible woven tops made out of the same material that rag rugs were made of when I was a student. They make people look like they should be herding goats!

This is one of those threads where things I like will get slated and things I loathe will get praised!

Along with YaySir I like the fitted, rock/indie look. Contrary to Wilbur I love clumpy boots, including DMs, especially when worn with tights and shorts or skirts. Also like a bit of leopard print.

Dislike? Pretty much anything in White Stuff.

Love DMs too itgoes. Don't like Uggs so much but can appreciate they are useful.

Agree with 'dressing like a five year old'. Like those adult version Lelli Kelli (sp?) type shoes - bloody awful. Also 'fun' tights and anything emblazoned with a slogan.

i remember going home as a student sporting DM's. i thought my mum would be hugely disappointed in me. instead she said, "oh what lovely sensible shoes". epic shock tactic fail

I like quite plain clothes. I'm not keen on logos or slogans on tops. They always say really odd/random things (in French usually ) on them like ooh la la or Mon Chéri.

My fashion yay is 'Paris Street Style', I am always checking it out on Pinterest but doubt I am able to quite pull it off.

I am not a big fan of fleeces, Ugg boots and tracksuits.

I love the wellies/wax jacket/riding look.

Love the hipster Paris chic look, ankle boots skinnies and camel coat, messy hair pinned on top of head.

Love the Mad Men look too.

Love the 80's look, aviator shades, short black biker jacket, big hair circa Debbie Harry.

Hate really rounded-toe shoes, head bands and also those shoes with a bar across.

Like: bows, polka dots, quirky prints, bright colours...I may be one of those women who dress like a little girl!

Dislike: shapeless sacks of shit that pass for tops, nylon, anything boring, short skirts, body con dresses, leggings...loads really

Oh those buns as well that are right on top of your head, looks like a dog has shat on your head.

I love a relaxed, clean lined, artfully scruffy rock chick look.

I hate the high maintenance look - orange tan, gel nails, false eyelashes, over white teeth, big bun on head, heels, tight tops showing wonderbra lines. It looks like a lot of effort & discomfort to look a bit shit.
