Flippin' eck typos central Blush

libertydoddle · 21/01/2016 15:06

sleep you obviously haven't explained yourself well enough to DH. Let's rehearse... 'DC more independent now, good for them not to have mum there all the time. DH we need some 'us' time, what better way to do that than working together?'

Also important not to pant and look faint every time he mentions HJ or CT Grin

QueenC I don't wear clothes if I don't like them. And this is why I am doing the 10 item thing. Only going to buy things I really love and will wear all the time.

dry hope you are OK.

stokey I had the same problems with Finery clothing. Too big on shoulders and too small on hips.

Drywhitethanks · 21/01/2016 15:29

I disagree Liberty, think Sleep should say this:
"MrSleep, I think you need quality time with your beautiful DCs so I'll take the strain, and my wonderful MNV friends, and attend those hideously boring meetings with CT and HJ in your place" Grin

libertydoddle · 21/01/2016 15:34

Yes dry. Much better!

shopafrolic · 21/01/2016 15:44

Bye bye Stan Smiths

maradesbois · 21/01/2016 16:07

Afternoon,

Exciting trip for dh Sleep! Am much more HJ that CT too, the beefcake thing does nothing whatsoever for me, would take boyish ie James McAvoy/Ewan McGregor over that any day. Now that you mention it though Kitty Gregory F is pretty much perfection! Met a v attractive man the other day who gave a talk for the course, despite being dressed for the weather when it was -2 outside he managed to make a cardigan sexy, wasn't British Grin.

Ootd is black skinnies, crisp white shirt, khaki cashmere jumper, choo suede bikers and hermès reversible wrap bracelet on the green side.

Shop Shock that it's over for Stans. Am not giving them up though, just got black ones for Christmas.

maradesbois · 21/01/2016 16:12

QueenC not sure I got the question first time but would keep the grey one just not buy anymore if you're not sure on colour. Wear a navy cardigan over it maybe? Would think you suit grey though? In general though would rather have one perfect thing and wear to death than several mediocre.

maradesbois · 21/01/2016 16:13

Am in the library, my friend just asked if am actually planning to do any work this afternoon Grin. Been pinning and on MN for last hour Blush, over and out

QueenC · 21/01/2016 16:15

Ooh mara I love a man in a cardi. I remember having a crush on someone at 6th form in his cardi and docs. And then a boyfriend at uni had a Cardi. Sadly, Dh would look utterly ridiculous in one.

Gah, I'm resigned to only ever wearing navy or cobalt blouses aren't I? Despite there being a load of other colours that I can wear these are the ones I feel best in.

QueenC · 21/01/2016 16:17

mara I do suit grey but suit navy better. You're right though-I won't buy anymore grey blouses.

Haha QueenC if anyone fancies men in cardis it would be you. Wish I had a pic of this fine specimen to show you! I like a man who can wear a polo neck, also met one of these same day as cardi man, slim fitting fine wool one under work suit. I mentioned to dh but he said his neck is too long to do it Confused

Karcheer · 21/01/2016 17:24

Hello ladies,

I'm off to catch up...

But just back from selfridges and I got this.

Karcheer · 21/01/2016 17:39

shop I've always wanted a pair of stans but they are just a bit big for me unless I wanted Velcro the nikes are lovely.

Dreamqueen · 21/01/2016 17:46

Karcheer Thats a lovely bag.

LinusLovesBretons · 21/01/2016 17:58

That is a lovely bag karcheer!

I just realised I forgot to mention my more recent and less well known crush: Matthias Schoenaerts try saying that after a few sherries

Not a classic Hollywood heartthrob but gorgeous nevertheless.

Karcheer · 21/01/2016 18:00

Really fancy men in glasses. I don't mind cardi's as long as it's not that Essex cardi look.

LinusLovesBretons · 21/01/2016 18:00

voilà

Karcheer · 21/01/2016 18:04

I've always fancied jason Biggs.

maradesbois · 21/01/2016 18:10

God no Karcheer, was more stylish Italian. That's a lovely bag, good choice.

Karcheer · 21/01/2016 18:13

Thank you everyone Grin

QueenC · 21/01/2016 18:24

Ugh, a man in a polo neck is a big turn off for me.

Heading off to the Emerald Isle tomorrow. So excited. Going for a quick indian this evening. Dry january is over. Although weirdly 3 weeks without booze and im not sure I want it anymore Hmm

shopafrolic · 21/01/2016 18:27

Lovely bag Karcheer are you pleased? :)
Know what you mean Mara I only got my Stans for my birthday and the weather hasn't been good enough for any decent wear yet so I'll still be wearing mine. do like the Nike Cortez though

shopafrolic · 21/01/2016 18:28

Just ordered this Mother sweatshirt I've been eyeing it up for ages and am fed up of being home alone so have done a total misery shop Grin

Karcheer · 21/01/2016 18:31

shop yes I really like it. it's going to,be wearable all seasons and I can wear it as a crossover or hold it's handles depending on how I feel.
I'm not sure I would, have necessarily picked it, or any other gucci tbh had dh not purchased the other one on Sunday but I thought I'd get something similar to what he picked and I really like it. :)
