How many bras do you own?

Was tempted by the sales in Debenhams today. Dh has asked how many bras do you need in a way that suggests I may have bought too many . Anyway, how many do you have? How many is too many?

I only have a handful. I buy one style from one brand in various colours but then I'm a J cup and need good support. They are massive and heavy

If I was smaller and could therefore buy cheaper I'd buy more.

I have three. Wash one, wear one, and one really old one for swimming and aqua aerobics

I currently have about 10, which is about right for me as I have a clean one on every day. I'd have more if I could 1. Afford them- they all have matching bottoms so average around £40-50 per set if I don't get them discounted from work and 2. Find ones I like in the right shape.

There's no such thing as too many as long as they fit and you actually wear them

I'm not sure, maybe about 15, but only 7/8 in regular use.

Why not buy a swimsuit with decent support instead? I have never seen anyone in the pool at the gym I go to wearing a bra under a swimsuit.

I bought 9 but in my defense I can never usually get nice ones in my size...

I have seven, plus three sports bras.

I am a weird size tho (30G) and my bras are hard to find and expensive so I handwash them, which I prefer to do once a week max, hence needing at least 4.

My size changed when I lost weight so these are all max 18mo old; they usually last a couple of years.

About 15 all used regularly. I couldn't cope with three.

I've never found one with decent support. Swim suit and old bra do me fine.

I think about 16 (incl. a sports bra) in total now... Might need to clear out old ones

Oh I clearly don't own enough! I thought my total would be high but nooo

About 20, but only half a dozen fit me at any one time (fluctuating weight). I recently had a clear out. I got rid of over 20 that were too small

About 12 in everyday circulation, 2 X sports and a couple of "special occasion not very practical numbers

How many days do you wear them for? I don't change mine every day

Clean bra everyday from discussions with friends I fear I may be ocd on this but hey ho

I have 6, but only as I found a fantastic sale the other day - £8 each in a large size you can't get in most shops).

I usually have 2 or 3. (Am skint right now! I would have more if I could afford it).

Went to be fitted at Bravissimo and bought two today. That brings my total of regularly-worn bras to three/four (one preferred, one back up). But my old two are nursing bras and the cups are too big now.

If the new ones end up being good in a month I'll go get a couple more.

I wash them once a week or so, more often if I've been hot and sweaty.

I am surprised by the answers. I have at least 40!

And 5 sports bras.

Mine are so few because I really, really struggle to find bras that fit me.

Without counting...easily 30, probably more like 40. They don't all fit right now as I've gained a bit of weight, but I probably have at least 10 in regular use
