marsha, I think both of us have the same work atmosphere, and I find its easy to get away in dressing casually, than dressing very (ie tailored formal suits ) smart, I always think the casually dressed are more confident, and experienced, and give the right image of their kind of work, IYKWIM,, while suits people are maybe new to all of this and look too eager and overwhelmed, for example take your style inspirations, capucine, Emmanuelle, Geraldine and the like, ofcourse they do many high profile meetings with executives , and big names in the conde nast world, but I doubt they specially dress for the occasion in a formal two piece chanel suit with pearls, or an oscar de larenta tweed dress for example.mthey may wear a chanel jacket, with cropped wool trousers ,heels, and a simple shirt /tee. Staying close to their true self, rather than pretending to be someone else for the sake of a meeting, , its kinda of rebellious, take me as I am! I think in these cases it works, because its a reflection of your capability, Emmaneulle dresses in saint Laurent suits sometimes, because it has a rebellious, edge to it, the cut, the sharp shoulders, she might roll the sleeves a bit, add a belt on the waist and the stuffy look is gone,
So I think, blazer, cropped trousers, simple thin cashmere jumper, not fitted, oversized shirt, and a skinny belt might do? That's 3 looks ,and you can still wear them out of work, and on casual days too,
I can see you in loads of the ACNE stuff too,
Sorry for the epic post!
