Husband says I will look like Prince

I've bought a purple cowl neck dress for a wedding mid-September. I'm worried I will be chilly & wanted a shrug / wrap type thing. Was about to buy a gold shrug and my husband says I will look like Prince.

Gold and purple works doesn't it?! I don't want to spend lots and am struggling to find anything.

I actually just took a packet of dairy milk upstairs to check the shade of dress, and yes it is a bit dairy milk-esque.....(and the cadburys lettering is gold...!)
