Some highlights:
Diorella, miss dior (old school, pre-reformulation), tabu and femme - all my mother's and used by me in dressing up games!
Love's Lemon Mist
Burnt Almond
- can't even remember whose those were!
Scented cream, that came in a small tub, with a fake jewel in the lid, by the name of 'Topaz', by Avon.
A hippy oil, called 'Himalayan White Musk', from various hippy shops. My sister and I would fight over that!
'Cinnabar' Estée Lauder in my late teen years. Along with various Body Shop oils: chypre, sandalwood and the doughty white musk.
Obsession at university.
New west reminds me of living in Brixton.
Hiris and The Vert remind me of discovering Liberty's fragrance section - which might well have been a recent addition at that point.
Now I am profligate. I love iris perfumes and chanel 19 poudre is my work perfume. I'm rediscovering chypre-likes and love bottega veneta legere and am currently infatuated wit h lavender - I had a pleasing find of burberry Brit rythm in t k maxx the other day, which satisfied the lavender craving.
