Lucy thanks for that, I'm off to raid the kitchen.

Frugal if the picture wasn't confusing enough then the product description is worse.

jackiekatu · 02/08/2015 20:33

Lucymam got the products that you recommended , loving all of them so far thank you

lucysmam · 02/08/2015 21:02

Glad you're enjoying them jackie Smile

I'm mooching about ebay trying to decide what sheet masks to try next. I think some of the Innisfree berry ones...just can't decide which berry to go for!

No probs Grin, I'll keep my eyes open for any others and post them too Smile

I went for a royal jelly sheet mask this evening, very soothing on my tired face. Hopefully I'll feel back to normal ready to tackle my huge to do list tomorrow!

Frugal, what on earth is the device you linked for?

wickedfairy · 02/08/2015 23:14

Good idea Scrambled, I should do! Will grab an alternative! Will update afterwards about how well the Biore faired!!

jackiekatu · 03/08/2015 08:13

Lucymam I was checking the beerymasks last night too ,I haven't used any sheet masks yet so that's the next to get and an eye cream

lucysmam · 03/08/2015 09:32

jackie, you need sheet masks in your life! They're so relaxing Grin

lucysmam · 03/08/2015 10:12

Skin basics post 1 from reddit. Thought some of you might find it interesting Smile

ScrambledSmegs · 03/08/2015 10:42

This morning I recieved a sample of LRP Anthelios ultra light fluid through the post. I filled in their online questionnaire for a sample more than 3 months ago.

In that time I have bought a full-size bottle, used over half of it before rejecting it in favour of new favourite Bioré, going back to it on holiday because I reacted to Ultrasun, and realised that I've most likely developed an allergy to chemical sunscreens meaning I cant use LRP Anthelios anymore either.

Now that is some slow customer service!

But it ain't half bad especially for holidays when you're not wearing makeup and lots of people like it, so would anyone here like me to post it to them? It's a 3ml tube, would probably get a few uses out of it. I can throw in some samples from my monster stash too, that I'm never going to get through.

lucysmam · 03/08/2015 10:48

I've just done my morning routine & noticed my dragons bloody essence is running low so I'm on the hunt for something else to order samples of, that contains niacinamide, if anyone has any recommendations?

I reckon I've got maybe 8 weeks use in there so hopefully plenty of time to either replace or rebuy it if I don't come across anything else I like.

mowglik · 03/08/2015 11:43

Lucysmam have a look at Cosrx galactomyces 95 whitening power - think it's a toner and not an essence but it has niacinamide in it and gets good reviews.

lucysmam · 03/08/2015 11:46

Thanks mowglik, I'll have a look later on.

Nabootique · 03/08/2015 12:00

Hello all. I've been lurking on here and the previous threads and I am thinking of buying a sleeping pack. The Innisfree Red Wine one seems very popular, but I can't find an ingredients list anywhere! Does anyone know of a site that has the list? Thanks.

lucysmam · 03/08/2015 12:15

Nabootique, ingredients list from COSDNA here Smile

Nabootique · 03/08/2015 12:27

Oh, brilliant! Thank you lucysmam Smile

NewsreaderChic · 03/08/2015 17:10

Does anyone have any spray bottle recommendations? I'd like one for my FTE.

FrugalFashionista · 03/08/2015 19:53

My FTE came with a spray nozzle but the best spray bottles I have for other stuff (I set my mineral makeup with water) are a travel-size laundry spray bottle that came with an iron (not joining the anti-ironing thread Wink) and DD's detangling spray.

Too exhausted today for a full routine... First day of kindergarten for DD2, a seaside picnic with DD1, then stopping an open house on our way home, throwing an impromptu dinner party for my German cousin, then realizing that DD2 is feverish... We are definitely going to slow down tomorrow!

The best spray bottle we have, News, is one I use to spray water on curly dd's hair to revive the curls rather than her being fuzzy Grin

Probably not quite what you're after but it was with the hair bits in Poundland. I have a couple of Wilko travel spray bottles too but they're more functional than nice to look at.

ilovetosleep · 03/08/2015 20:28

I'm so exited, my RRS sale haul has arrived :) I have CosRX blackhead liquid (although I don't know if I need it. Or it might be that clearasil has done the job already, but I hate that so v excited to try it)
And I have my missha longer name. and about 15 sheet masks. A few samples and a free benton snail bee mask.

Have tried the CosRx and I can't believe its a BHA - so pleasant feeling compared to the clearasil pads. I hope I don't react but so far so good.

Also I have a sample for missha fte but I don't really know what its for/how to use. It says its first step but does that mean even before actives?

m0gz · 03/08/2015 21:39

scrambled did you find the coppertone? I'm still using it and have a few lots if you need any posting?

Has anyone come across anywhere selling samples of the cosrx products? After the snail bee incident I would rather test something first. I am quite happy with my clearasil pads but the urge to try something new just won't go away!

I'm also still fascinated with and lusting after a cushion. However, I have spent some time today looking at reviews etc and I'm a bit concerned about talk of mold growth and hygiene issues etc I just wondered if anyone here was doing their own diy versions?

I also came across a lady doing a proper diy version that involved cutting up a kitchen sponge to soak the products in. From a purely crafting / diy perspective I was tempted for a second but then remembered I would then be applying this to my face Grin

lucysmam · 03/08/2015 21:44

m0gz, I don't think COSRX do samples for sale, I haven't been able to find any anywhere. The only place I have had them from is Jolse with various things.

What are you wanting to try? Maybe one of us could send you some in a travel type bottle to try?

NewsreaderChic · 03/08/2015 22:36

I've never seen any Cosrx samples for sales, I have the blackhead toner and the aha/BHa one if you'd like I could decant some and send it.

With regard to the spray bottles, the one I bought didnt mist more a concentrated shoot iyswim. I've got a travel sized Clinique moisture surge and that's a great spray, but it's still in use. I'll research it and try a few.

lucysmam · 03/08/2015 22:42

Does anyone here have the COSRX Galactomyces (did I spell that right Confused ) 95 White/ning power essence & would mini-review it for me?

I am tempted to replace the Dragons blood essence with it but it's not pink. The bottle is more than double the size for not much more money & I think niacinamide was higher up the ingredients - must go back and check that again when I COSDNA search it tomorrow.

Am off to search reddit to find out what they think of it.

GrinAndTonic · 04/08/2015 02:11

My TesterKorea haul arrived!
Two snail recovery gels, all in one snail cream, eyelash curlers, tweezers, pencil sharpener, black sugar cleansing gel, an array of missha/tony moly/innisfree masks and a free sample pack of innisfree soy essences.

The description on the parcel was 'fancy goods'. I'm not sure what my postman thinks I order.

lucysmam · 04/08/2015 09:21

ilove, I completely forgot last night - the FTE goes first after any actives you use to prep your skin for your other steps Smile

TheWombat · 04/08/2015 10:29

Would anyone like my Mizon Good Night White sleeping mask? Happy to send on to anyone, I've decided to 'Kondo' it as sleeping masks clearly aren't suiting my skin, which is just about returning to normal after a month of awful-ness. Hence I'm returning to the thread

Lucysmam I have the CosRX galactomyces whitening power essence. It's a clear liquid, thicker and less watery than a toner, but still pretty fluid. It sinks in quickly - I use it after the acid stage, or directly after cleansing. It hasn't broken me out and feels refreshing rather than moisturising. I have layered it up with Scinic Propolis Serum and Mizon Snail or Mizon Starfish moisturisers. I haven't noticed a huge amount of 'whitening', but it hasn't broken me out and I like the idea that the galactomyces are doing their antioxidant stuff. Plus, niacinamide! My skin is a lot softer, but who knows whether that's down to the CosRX or a general improvement in my routine.

Those of you who have ordered from RRS / TesterKorea, did you have to pay customs?
