Any recommendations?
Small wrists, not blingy.

Skagen watches are lovely.

TheDuchessofBoxford · 12/07/2015 22:56

Daniel Wellington make very simple and stylish watches at a reasonable price

JaceLancs · 12/07/2015 23:58

I have had an omega for the last 20+ years
I think it's far more classy than a Rolex!

mowglik · 13/07/2015 00:26

Budget? expensive is relative!

RJnomore · 13/07/2015 00:39

Id recommend a Raymond Weill. Proper Swiss made, not too pricey but definitely getting dearer the last few years. Probably on par with a Gucci watch price wise but they're fashion watches, I'd get a watchmaker watch if you can.

SomeKindOfDeliciousBiscuit · 13/07/2015 02:28

Another vote for RW.

Strokethefurrywall · 13/07/2015 02:49

Depending on budget, Cartier make beautiful ladies watches.

Strokethefurrywall · 13/07/2015 02:51

Or Tag. But my ultimate are the Rolex oysters - on the expensive side though.

ChipsOnChips · 13/07/2015 03:17

I like the Cartier tank - understated and classy

SteveBrucesNose · 13/07/2015 05:02

I have a Cartier tank francaise and I love it, but again, expensive is relative. If you've got dainty wrists I'm not sure a tank would be right, I've got very big hands (ring size Q and a half for comparison) and it's a nice size watch on me.

Baume and mercier have some very classic styles too and I suspect my next watch will be from there. Very classic Swiss watches. I'm not sure on women's pricing but DHs was about £2.5k and women's are usually cheaper. They're very slim too.

I have an Omega. It's very plain (no bling) and looks fine with a dress or fine with casual clothes. Bit like this model but the face on mine is not pearlised

That Omega is lovely.

Keep them coming

Yep loving the Omega Constellation but not the price tag Grin

I have a Longines tank watch, was £700 7 years ago IIRC (wedding present from DH)

dazzlingdeborahrose · 13/07/2015 19:08

I have an omega constellation but the one that is two tone and with the sparkly diamonds on the face. Not too blingy and goes with everything. I also have a Raymond Weill which was less expensive but has never let me down in the fifteen years I've owned. Simple design but very lovely.

Paddingtonthebear · 13/07/2015 19:38

Have you got some pics please?

I have this - it's lovely and understated.
But I'm seriously considering buying a Cartier Tank Francaise

Paddingtonthebear · 13/07/2015 21:04

I don't even know if I want round, square or ???

I have this skagen one which, in my opinion, looks more expensive than it is!

Longines.

MountainDweller · 14/07/2015 01:39

Check out Speake-Marin for something unusual www.speake-marin.com/collections/j-class-collection/shenandoah

AGBforever · 14/07/2015 01:49

I have a really beautiful Raymond Weil (15yrs old) which is so lovely I have stopped wearing it and put aside for my Dd when she leaves home.

Want2bSupermum · 14/07/2015 02:49

Skagen watches don't last. Had three in a row and each only lasted 2 years.

Now I have a Rolex and a Larson and Jennings. Love both but if looking for something less than £500 I would opt for L&J as I really like that you can easily switch the wrist strap.

mowglik · 14/07/2015 03:26

Have a look at Longines for affordable Swiss watches - the prima Luna range is very classic looking and comes with and without diamonds and in silver or silver and gold
