Love the book - a bit like Snog, Marry, Avoid for tedious tasks.
Well, I've been run ragged by my offspring this afternoon. I was planning a nice quiet afternoon, just DD2 and I (DS off on Y10 boat trip, and DD1 at gymnastics via friend). I thought I might make a start on writing the speech I need to give at DDad's party.... First thing this morning, a text from one of DD2's friends - an emergency, can friend stay over this evening? No problem, collect friend and luggage. Then a text from DD1, who's forgotten her gym kit, so I will have to take her to gym after all. Grrr... Half way to gym, there's a desperate call from DS who has forgotten his suit trousers... aaarghhh... so I drop DD1, hare back home (phoning DD2 to meet me at the end of the road with said trousers... she's there alright, but holding a scabby old pair of school trousers
). Back to the house, race off to school though the (now) rush hour traffic to meet DS (who just makes the coach). Phone DD2 to get the dinner in the oven. Back home again, feed DD2 and friend, stick a plate in the oven for DD1, into car with girls back down to school again for a meeting about forthcoming Germany trip I had forgotten about, back home at last, collapsing on sofa with a plateful of cold chicken goujons and a large glass of wine....oh my days... I reckon I have spent just shy of three hours in the car today, almost entirely because my children can't sort themselves out.

And I haven't so much as written a sentence of my speech. Actually, if anyone has any tips ....?
