leeloo you going to love it, good choice!

What my face loves is: retin, acids ( inc vit c), niacinamide and the sulwhasoo. I would not be without these!

GrinAndTonic · 02/07/2015 07:31

Well I just spent a small fortune at TesterKorea. Snail gel was just over half the price I normally pay. I got sheet masks for 60 cents and black sugar oil for less then half price. Some Cosrx a-sol toner jay have fallen into my eBay cart too Grin

I've noticed by blackheads, while small, are coming to the surface. Did anyone else find this happening?

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 07:53

uhoh, I need new snail gel. Shall take a look what I can find when I get in, thanks Grin.

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 09:43

Why doesn't the postie ever leave my parcels next door or somewhere out of sight Sad Now I have to wait until Saturday for it being re-delivered

ilovetosleep · 02/07/2015 09:51

Lucysmama I really rate the Serozinc sprit, its really lovely and was on special offer in Boots when I bought mine last week. I think 25% off. Its really calming on my sensitive skin and is cool and refreshing. Another one I use but its more expensive is Clinique Moisture Surge, which is like another layer of proper moisture but you can use over make up etc.

ilovetosleep · 02/07/2015 09:53

I know this is a really stupid question but eBay is messing with my mind. Sometimes I have an option to add to basket. But when theres something I actually do want to add to my basket the button isn't there. Just buy now or add to watch list. Why is this, does anyone know?!

ilovetosleep · 02/07/2015 09:58

I am soooo excited my Benton testers have arrived after just ten days! No freebies though.

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 10:58

Is anyone on Instagram? There's an etude house post on there with a hair sheet mask on it - has anyone seen them on ebay? I had a brief look yesterday but didn't come up with anything Sad I've added them to my 'to try' list out of interest.

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 11:00

ilove, report back about your benton testers, please Smile I'm eagerly awaiting mine - although I will be waiting forever if the post man keeps coming early & never leaves the parcels with a neighbour or somewhere safe .

I even debated sticky taping a note to the door this morning but wasn't overly happy with the idea of advertising that I'm out - even though it's like it's own little bubble on this estate and you rarely see strangers, you just never know.

NewsreaderChic · 02/07/2015 11:13

Cornwall you've jumped in the deep end with the Retin A. I've been using it for about three months, am still on the lowest strength and only just about to move to nightly. From what I've read it goes like this - start with 0.025 once every third night, then alternate nights, then nightly. Then move to 0.050, then 0.1. Give it a good few weeks in between each stage and don't move to the next stage until the peeling is barely noticeable and your skin has adjusted.

ILove - my Benton samples arrived to day also! The essence looks almost empty and I can't seem to get anything out, I'm assuming it's very gloopy.

I also got some Banila co, zero cleansing stuff sample pots.

I'm in danger of trying so many products that I don't know what's working for me and what's not. My skin doesn't seem to react badly to anything so it's easy to do. I think I've got to try to be patient and slow down the introduction of new things, I also wonder if your skin gets used to a product after a while and therefore it's as well to swap things around after a while?

Phantomquartz · 02/07/2015 13:11

My Skin18 free masks arrived. I've put them straight in the fridge!

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 13:19

yay! Glad it worked for you too Phantom. What type did you get?

There are (were) folks on yesterday who were saying they tried for 5o or 100 - got me wondering if they would have sent that many. I'm keeping a close eye on the top bar where the offer was now & will repost anything useful here Smile

Phantomquartz · 02/07/2015 13:35

I got a Nature Republic Rose one and a Red Ginseng one with Niacinamide.
I love the letter that they sent in all its glorious konglish. "100 winnnies who post a review will receive an extra gift".

Phantomquartz · 02/07/2015 14:04

I think I accidentally put through the request for samples twice - but got 2 masks. I wouldn't expect them to process multiple requests to the same address. I'm definitely going to do the reviews though - it seems unfair to take the freebies and not give them a review.

By the way - there are lots of other freebie offers on the website - you just have to pay $3 postage.

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 14:04

Grin I spotted that one too - had to do a double-take thinking I'd read it wrong! The konglish thing does make me chuckle!

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 14:05

I saw that but didn't have a proper look around. I might go back and see what else there is

ilovetosleep · 02/07/2015 14:16

I will let you know how Benton goes lucysmam but I doubt I'll start using them for a while :( stupidly I have started a trial with 20 samples of Missha longer name ampoule so I suppose I'd better use that up first? Or I could do Benton in the morning, but then I wouldn't know which/if either of them were doing anything for me.

I have figured out that the Clearasil pads are probably what was irritating my skin. I have used them in the morning every other day, 3 times now, and the sore inflamed patch of skin under my right eye is starting to tingle and throb a bit again. I really wanted to try the CosRX blackhead stuff as I know its meant to be very gentle, but I don't know if I should bother. I only have SFs on my nose, maybe I could just localise where I use it and avoid my sensitive cheeks?

ilovetosleep · 02/07/2015 14:37

Which innisfree no-sebum powder do you all have - the mineral one or the blur one? The mineral one seems to be green, am I right? Are they loose or compact powder?

mowglik · 02/07/2015 14:54

ilovesleep I've got the green mineral one, loose powder. Really like it, and thinking to order the pressed powder versions for my bag.

just read this article on sheet masks for other parts of the body, you could get quite obsessive about sheet masks if you wanted to! I like the sheet masks for hair but not sure about breasts?? Grin

Does anyone have any recommendations for essences for oily skin? I have a tony moly whitening capsule essence which smells gorgeous but would like one to treat oily skin too. Ive been looking at the LJH Tea Tree essence but not sure if I want to spend £25 on it without being able to sample it first

mowglik · 02/07/2015 15:57

misss do you still have the malie sheet masks? If you have them id be interested in the snail, green tea and royal jelly ones if you have them? pm me if so!

CoconutAmericano · 02/07/2015 16:10

Are there sheet masks for the neck does anyone know?

goodasitgets · 02/07/2015 17:49

I am a sheep Grin just ordered the Biore SPF

ScrambledSmegs · 02/07/2015 18:16

Oh my skin has gone awful. Algernon is breeding. And I'm having migraine after migraine. I hate this weather. It makes me want to live in a country where air-con is standard in all homes. On the positive side I've got some gorgeous rosè in the cooler which I'll crack open once the kids are in bed.

Tonight I'm going to break out the Retin-A. 0.000000025 percent or whatever it is, don't want to scare the horses. Fingers crossed this sorts out my spots once and for all.

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 18:30

mowglik, I've just ordered the Secret Key Dragon's Bloody Essence for just under £7 - I've been reading about niacinamide potentially helping to limit sebum production so fingers crossed!

Coconut, I do believe I've seen neck sheet masks on ebay when I've randomly searched 'sheet masks'...will have a look and post links shortly - just doing tea, bloomin' starving and no sign of dp who went off out on his bike at 5am! Angry

lucysmam · 02/07/2015 18:32

goodas, it's bloody addictive this stuff! Grin Hope you like the sunscreen Smile

Scrambled, I know what you mean - every time I look in the mirror several times a day 'cos I'm a bit vain Grin I have a couple of dinky whiteheads. Thankfully nothing bigger yet but it's still a pain. Hope the retin-a, that I am now scared of, works for you!
