Imgoing to get some after work. It can't work. But I'm willing to try. (After the disappointment of the clarins thing )

There is stock in Boots near me, I saw it at the weekend and was tempted until a lady next to me said "I tried that and it went all streaky"

The 'waiting list' is usual Daily Fail frenzy shit to sell... shit on behalf of Companies. Remember the No 7 serum bunfight? It's just moisturiser.

Theimpossiblegirl · 26/05/2015 10:15

They had it in my local Boots, £14.50 and on 3 for 2. I am waiting for the MN verdict before buying. :)

BadgersArse · 26/05/2015 12:10

any more feedback?

OP posts:
QforCucumber · 26/05/2015 12:12

I have used twice, yesterday and sunday.

no streaks at all, and DP asked if i had been on the sunbeds so I'm guessing it works.
more a light glow than a dark tan, but that's fine by me.
I am thinking though that a bottle isn't going to last that long, while it's on 3 for 2 I can justify it but I'm not sure I'd keep buying once offer ends - may have to be a winter glow purchase rather than all year round.

BadgersArse · 26/05/2015 12:24

Frosty - she was shit then. Its the easiest ever

ilovetosleep · 26/05/2015 12:32

Can I just ask, sorry if it's been answered already, once you rinse it off I guess you can do ok more washing, you just come straight out of shower? Where does hair washing come into it (don't have time to shower and not wash hair these days!) I have just picked some up and want to use later, thanks!

BadgersArse · 26/05/2015 12:39

I would do everything first, I think.
Then do this. Then pay dry and proceed in a Northerly Direction to getting dressed

OP posts:
BadgersArse · 26/05/2015 12:39

or leave on conditioner during the three minutes

Its not as complicado as it sounds - honest

OP posts:
QforCucumber · 26/05/2015 12:52

I shower gel and shampoo'd, the put the conditioner on, then St Tropez, then used the time while 'developing' to comb the conditioner thorough.

rinse all, step out, dry, moisturise, get dressed - and begin the day Smile

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 26/05/2015 13:00

I've used it 4 times now since Friday. Not convinced I look any different. No streaks though. But I do think there's a slight whiff.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Are you supposed to put it on when you're dry?

ggirl · 26/05/2015 13:08

I found it really easy , weird to put cream onto your wet skin tho.

I think its great and after one use you can tell where you need to be careful..with me its my feet. Not hard to get a non streaky result at all..or you're being particularly shit at applying

Vivacia · 26/05/2015 13:38

If you have white bedlinen, is the tan coming off on your sheets?

Does it make a difference if you're a morning or evening showerer-tanner?

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 26/05/2015 14:43

Daft question alert!

I haven't been moisturising after coming out of the shower in case the body lotion affects the tan developing, do I have a point or are any of you moisturising afterwards and there's been no problem?.

I got 3 for 2 at Boots at the weekend - can't believe people are paying £20+ for a bottle on eBay...

Anyway, I did it last night and expected to wake up at least slightly bronzed. Nothing. Undeterred, I am trying it again tonight. I really love the concept and want it to work so much.

Oh, Vivacia nothing on the white sheets.

BadgersArse · 26/05/2015 15:01

Shoulders easy to do. No one sees my back. I don't do most of it.

OP posts:
noddyholder · 26/05/2015 15:05

I don't do back with normal one have got dp to do it a few times and then no one sees so don't bother I am going to get it once my current one runs out. I am after the no transfer element as my current one takes 3 mins anyway but does mark stuff a bit.

cardoon · 26/05/2015 20:11

......has anyone tried applying with surgical gloves to avoid the tanned palms/finger nails situation?

BadgersArse · 26/05/2015 20:41

It's not that strong. Just wash them

OP posts:
hairhelpplease · 26/05/2015 20:49

I've ordered today.

frankietwospots · 26/05/2015 22:14

Bought mine from Boots yesterday (loads of stock) and tried for the first time this morning. Nothing too noticeable yet (I already have colour from using the M&S Autograph gradual tanner) but will apply again tomorrow. I spent the 3 mins brushing my teeth and applying serum and moisturiser.

thenightsky · 26/05/2015 22:34

I have white towels (I like to 90c wash). Will they go brown?

homebythesea · 27/05/2015 07:34

First application last night:

Easy peasy to apply- yes I did shiver as I counted down The 3 minutes. I took a facecloth in with me to wipe hands as my shower isn't big enough to turn on and only rinse hands without also rinsing the body!

This morning, no massive change, but no streaks either

I especially liked the fact that I went to bed dry- not sticky with lotion as I usually do (I use St Trop everyday gradual) and with only the very slightest of whiffs. For this reason alone I'm going to stick with it- will reapply later post gym

WendyTorrance · 27/05/2015 07:54

I also used this last night. There is a smell of fake tan about it but not too strong.
No noticeable difference this morning so I've reapplied.
I always moisturise my body after a shower which I haven't done in case it 'waters' the tan down iykwim. My skin feels really dry so I'll moisturise later.
Will report back later Smile

noddyholder · 27/05/2015 08:12

They all smell a bit once they develop.
