If you could only buy clothes from one shop...?

Mine would be Uniqlo.

I love everything in it - basics like tees and knitwear, and always gorgeous dresses in natural fibres in the summer. Silk shirts, jeans, perfect stripey tops - it's got it all.

Banana Republic for me

7amWakeUp · 16/05/2015 13:31

Dorothy Perkins

BadgersArse · 16/05/2015 13:35

thank god for coasting it..

also if you say nExt that is Next branded ONLY

makes rules more complicated

BadgersArse · 16/05/2015 13:36

you see I would say Banana Rep too but I am uncertain of their jeans

noddyholder · 16/05/2015 13:36

I am too fickle for somewhere with a defined 'look'

MarniRose · 16/05/2015 13:37

Hush is my absolute number one

Then Sweaty Betty and third would probably be Jigsaw

BadgersArse · 16/05/2015 13:42

No to Cos then Noddy Wink

noddyholder · 16/05/2015 13:43

We should have another thread If there was only this shop you'd be in trouble! Mine would be hush all looks bad on me and its lovely on everyone else

Hassled · 16/05/2015 13:49

House of Fraser, but that's cheating because it has loads of mini-shop thingies in it (can't remember the word). Probably Zara.

ChaiseLounger · 16/05/2015 14:03

Hate clothes shopping. Nothing ever fits me. short and curvy.
How do you lot have the time?

SwedishEdith · 16/05/2015 14:05

Uniqlo or Gap. In fact, probably 85% of what I wear is from either of these shops. I find clothes shopping very boring though which is probably reflected in how I look

Coastingit · 16/05/2015 14:05

Yes Badger and also it has to be a shop that you can actually afford, like you are actually only allowed to buy all your clothes for work and leisure from there from now on.

Chaise online! If you've got time to MN you've got time to shop Grin

Noddy mine would be Oasis. Their clothes are not cut for pears but for apples and all their dresses look unfailingly crap on me, like I'm dressing up as a girl or something. And it just annoys me as a shop for its middleoftheroadness, not sure why.

OP posts:
SwedishEdith · 16/05/2015 14:12

Oh, I should look at Oasis then. M&S and Next all cut for pears - always have spare fabric on the hips.

Coastingit · 16/05/2015 14:12

Oops just seen Badger's thread will nip over there Grin

Mango Violeta (until I lose a bit more weight). Just bought a(nother) load of stuff fully expecting to return quite a bit but loved it all!

TitsCrossed · 16/05/2015 14:20

And shoes would all be Fitflop

SuperFlyHigh · 16/05/2015 14:21

Cos, Zara and &OtherStories.

I would go for Whistles/Hush but the quality and fabrics for the prices are just appalling… I gave away (should have ebayed) a nice caramel coloured jumper from Whistles as it creased so badly after every wear… the Ebayer I saw Ebaying it had the same problem… It didn't seem that way in the concession i bought it from….

SuperFlyHigh · 16/05/2015 14:23

Coasting - Oasis have some nice stuff if you look past their middle of the roadness…

I am a slim curvy type (fit into their smalls there) and as the only Cos and Zara are a train/bus ride away from my work and home then I've been stuck with Oasis for past 5 years!

You can get some great bargains in their sales and some nice clothes - you just have to know what you are looking for!

BadgersArse · 16/05/2015 14:27

Chaise. I buy all my clothes on line. Hate rl shopping. Such a drag.

Valsoldknickers · 16/05/2015 14:28

Gun to my head and must choose only one....Mint Velvet.

However, don't want to be dressed in greige from head to toe all the time, so need to be allowed to buy from Oasis and Boden (no garish prints) from time to time for a splash of colour! Just too difficult Coastingit Smile

BadgersArse · 16/05/2015 14:34

No. On behalf of coasting it I'm disallowing that

dexter73 · 16/05/2015 16:16

Badgers - you are right. Rl shopping is a drag. I had a day to myself today so toddled off to the big smoke to spend the day clothes shopping. Got bored in Westfield after about an hour! Online shopping is so much better.

thelittlebooktroll · 16/05/2015 17:33

My heart belongs to Massimo Dutti. I more or less only shop there anyway.
