If you could only buy clothes from one shop...?

Mine would be Uniqlo.

I love everything in it - basics like tees and knitwear, and always gorgeous dresses in natural fibres in the summer. Silk shirts, jeans, perfect stripey tops - it's got it all.

I adore TK Maxx but think I would look jumble saley if I bought all my clothes from there!

In truth, I'm really bad at shopping, I impulse buy cheap things, and obsess over expensive things that end up not suiting me anyway - so I think Uniqlo would be a good option. I crave to dress classically in simple shapes and colours, so I'd be protected from myself Grin

Uniqlo.

Mango/Zara tie for second.

FishCalledWonder · 15/05/2015 13:19

Oasis. Only shop that I feel caters for you when you don't want to dress like your Mum yet but can't get away with Top Shop anymore.

noddyholder · 15/05/2015 13:21

Probably M and S Shock I can put a good outfit together from there no matter how crap everyone says it is! I like zara but quality and fit too variable for every day

thelastflame · 15/05/2015 13:45

Oasis.

They are the only place that make dresses that fit me (broad shoulders, no hips).

Koalafications · 15/05/2015 13:46

ASOS.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/05/2015 13:47

Reiss (I wish!)

Twinklestein · 15/05/2015 13:50

DvF, MaxMara or J Crew

(you didn't say it had to be affordable...)

Kittykatmacbill · 15/05/2015 13:53

H&m or gap or maybe white stuff If someone else is paying :-)

Vero moda used to have their shops (shared with jack jones) in both glasgow and Nottingham...

SouthernComforts · 15/05/2015 13:53

Probably New Look. I'm poor and they do everything from bikinis to suits.

HiawathaDidntBotherTooMuch · 15/05/2015 13:54

Boden, because they do such a wide range of petite

Branleuse · 15/05/2015 13:55

boden or H&M

Oly4 · 15/05/2015 13:57

Cos Grin

Lndnmummy · 15/05/2015 14:02

COS

IsabellaofFrance · 15/05/2015 14:03

Uniqlo is one of my favourite shops, and the trouser altering service is fab too.

Mypubesarestraight · 15/05/2015 14:07

New look

cressetmama · 15/05/2015 14:13

Another vote for Uniqlo, but I'd want a second string for my more off-the-wall moments. Uniqlo from head to toe would be practical, just a bit dull.

KissyBoo · 15/05/2015 14:15

I have the most success with stuff from Next.

KissyBoo · 15/05/2015 14:16

Also Autograph and a bit of Boden.

KissyBoo · 15/05/2015 14:18

Mind you if money was no issue it would be Agnes b.

niminypiminy · 15/05/2015 14:21

Probably M&S though I'd personally like a Cos-Autograph merger.

If money absolutely no object then Celine Grin

chanie44 · 15/05/2015 14:59

Uniqlo here too. In fact, most of my wardrobe is from uniqlo.

I know it's not very exciting, but I love the fact it's just good quality basics.

mrsdavidbowie · 15/05/2015 15:02

I have no idea. I am six feet tall and there isn't one shop which sells nice clothes which fit.
